  1. Got it mate. Thanks for the effort mate, appreciate it. I'll have a crack at singing over the top of it when i next do a gig and see how noticable the original vocals are. Failing that, my only other option may be to find someone who can replay the entire track on Piano. In the show, it was completely played on Piano only and the episode is actually called Piano man.
  2. Cheers mate. Sending it now. Can you let me know if you get it? Cheers Peter
  3. Since i didnt get on the forum on Saturday i missed this reminder then MISSED TOP GEAR!!! Gutted. I'll be watching the repeat hopefully on Thursday.
  4. Dunno how to host it. not that technical lol. I could e-mail it to you if that would work?
  5. No prob. Didn't think it would be there. To be honest, i'd be appreciative of any effort, crystal clear on not as long as the backing track was there.
  6. Never seen a midi file for this track. I have the original score on cd which has been ripped down to a wma file on my computer. I'm crap at using music editing software though. Tried it a while back and got nowhere. :( Ideally I need to find someone that knows what they're doing.
  7. :happybday: Happy Birthday Dude
  8. I've tried using the karaoke Machine but the strip on those doesn't really work well enough. It's a song called "Somewhere In The Night" and was performed by Scott Bakula for the TV show Quantum Leap. This is the song on You Tube that has been used on a Star Trek fan Video for some reason (Probably cos Scott Bakula was in Enterprise) Peter
  9. I love the Big Bang Theory. Sheldon Cooper is sooooo funny :)
  10. Nah this song is so rare and obscure. It was featured in a TV series.
  11. Hi All, I'm looking to have the lyrics stripped from a song to leave the backing track. I know there are some clever people on here and i was wondering if anyone has done it before or thinks they could do it. Cheers Peter
  12. Happy Birthday Scrawni :happybday:
  13. Happy Birthday :happybday:
  14. looks bloody awful if you ask me :(
  15. I've always used a tint by Savage. thats really good. Some tints actually look furry for some reason lol.
  16. Youd prob need to drive up here to get the quotes but you could come up in one day and get quotes from all the ones up here. they're all about 4 miles from each other and i'm sure you could save a bundle on the price you've got there. Peter
  17. I've done my front indicators with the tint spray too. Headlights are illegal to have tinted but the rear lights are fine as long as the reflectors are visible and enough light shines through the tint.
  18. I think 750 is WAYYYYYY to expensive for the parts you want doing. there are a couple of trimmers near me. North East Trimmers in Byker North East Trimmers Unit 9/Byker Business Development Centre, Albion Row Newcastle upon Tyne NE6 1LQ http://www.northumbrianleather.co.uk/ Westerhope Trimmers Unit 7, Westerhope Small Business Park, Redburn Road, Newcastle Upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear NE5 1NF
  19. Yep, i seen this ages ago. Good idea in theory but would never work. we need to hit the government but there is no real way to do this. :(
  20. I prefer the Z with the spoiler, just think it looks unfinished without one. I have the car.mad fiberglass one. Great fit. Bonded on with Sikoflex car body adhesive. Peter
  21. Nice one mate. Thats what you get for doing a good turn. I had the same thing happen to me with 2 effects lighting rigs. I had to threaten with physical violence to get my gear back. I'll never loan my kit to anyone again.
  22. I got pulled over in the Supra on the A19. The guy first pointed to the Double Din stereo and said "Whats That" to which i kindly replied " a stereo that plays MP3's". The worst thing was that he asked why i was doing 50mph?? I was actually running out of fuel so the orange light was on. But i mean, why?? 50 is a perfectly resonable speed for a dead road at midnight.
  23. Eh?? you must be kidding right? Really cool stuff though. After Studying History and Archaeology for many years i have a real passion for this kind of thing. One of my papers was about the Roman fort in Arbeia at South Shields.
  24. Thanks for all the advice. Like you said there, i need to get some time when its not raining/snowing and i'm not working etc to have a decent go at it. it's just so damn annoying getting wet on the way to work when i'm in my car. :(
