Cheers Guys. What would be the difference with semi or fully synthetic oil? would one of them be likely to cause damage?

So any decent garage should have no problem doing the fluids, even on the gearbox. So is the millers fully or semi synthetic?

Hi All, Here's a really easy question for the mechanically minded among you. :blushing: I'm looking to get the Oil, Filter and Gearbox oil changed in the near future. Is this an easy job? will it be easy for any Garage to do? :surrender: Also, what is the best oil to use. Semi-Synthetic or Fully Synthetic? My car is a 1995 J-Spec Auto N/A. Cheers Peter

I think this is shocking. Everything Clarkson says is in good humour and has no malice attatched to it. Why can't people just accept it for the bit of fun that it is. Most insurance companys have really dodgy cancellation policies. i've been stung like this before a few times. :(

to be honest, i find it does very little. the more holes you have for the air to come out, the less pressure and the less effective each one becomes.

Here's a really weird thing? Are you using Regular unleaded or Super Unleaded? Mine used to stall occasionally at roundabouts and when i was braking and the revs dropped. Banged some redex through which sorted it a bit. I then started using Super unleaded and it hasn't done it since (Touch Wood)

I'd say thats good advice. Having no heater was one of the major Contributing factors to getting rid of the Supra. That said, that's how i've come to own a Zed :) Great news that it's all pointing in the right direction though mate :) Peter
