you have to bear in mind the engine if it destroyed itself it could of damaged the turbos so they could be knackered too, just a thought!!

as above really, anybody no where i can buy one and no im not starting me own zed mechanics repair place enough of them on here just want to change me 02 sensors me self as one of them is apparentley knackered????,bloody car, :D beleive they call it a crows foot 27mm does that sound right!!

hi cheesebury , where abouts in kent do you live, maybe a few of us could meet up somewhere i dont no if theres any na drivers near us but theres at least 7 tt drivers i no of in croydon surrey, your best bet is to drive both and let you own heart make up its mind , also buying off here would be a good place to start, as i did never looked back and im probably one of the most unlucky on here had new turbos, replacement engine, and still got a few things to do but id still fight to the death if someone tried to take it off me ," or if someone on barryboys slagged it off" will explain that later , guess im saying i love the car to bits and have no regrets no matter what it throws at me im a hardcore zed owner and will never get rid, best advice is mate try before you buy either na or tt its your choice, all the best paul

change the belt first cheapest option , if noise dont go away , its the alternator under load they can sieze up a little happened to me in me carlton, just mho, hope it helps
