right firstly , i would like to say happy new year to all members all user etc , and would like to say as some of you may no ive had a bad run of luck with the zed this year ,, engines,turbos , electrical probs etc etc, but just glad to be ending the year on a good note, just picked me zed up today from mickey b place,, car is running sweet , we treid to bring it home last week but a hose split to the power steering , which was repaired by mickey, he came all the way over to richs house to do it in the freezing cold but,, alas the fluid had pissed all over the alternator , dolt, which fooked it, so now have new one fitted , thanks again mickey b , got her back today , and shes in the best shape she ever bin scince ive owned her, and am very happy despite all the pitfalls this year, so heres to mickey b, top class mechanic and a good friend :duffer: and to rich whos donated parts to me car!! to keep it running :duffer: also a good friend would recomend mickey b to anyone!! well done matey happy new year i would like to thank the following as well , you all no what for !!! jock, cybernet, manta v8, karlos g, "wheres he gone"" jdsz by no means last , got some great parts there cheers jhon"sorry rich"and last but no means least it would nt have bin possible without the parts ,,,splatt great engine bud from a great car at least her heart still beats , all the best patt ,., happy new year to you all

yes i get nervous leaving it somewhere for work , ,dont no why just do, ,, plus peach im a bit worried about you,, last time we spoke at chunks you said you liked it long sleak and black?? :x: :x: :tongue: but i do get where your coming from , my wife drove my rover ti and reversed it into a brickwall ,she rang her brother and he asked me to go home as there was a problem with car when i got home ,,he was here saying now dont loose it tina just scraped it on the wall thats all, she was nervous wreck , i felt sad that she was more worried about what id say rather than the dent in the car, all got sorted out in the end,. but the zed she drives a bit np from me but not in the snow !!!

i now the law says they have the right to erect it as its timber and any timber structure isnt permanent,, but they have broken the rules by fixing it to your fence,, not allowed, also as said before it is criminal damage if they have screwed it to your fence as well , ,good luck with this , contact the councill should be able to help you ,

if i were would consider a well looked after 600 ti , as well same engine as the tomcat ,, t16 rover turbo engine,, but the 600 is a wolf in sheeps clothing, but get a good one with service history on ebay going for 600-1500 , 200bhp,standard place called motobuild will look after you for upgrades the right way , there in hounslow, got a website as well ,

tbh ,, its mainly about the first one you buy tbh, get a well looked after example and you shouldnt go far wrong, i no ive probably spent more than most this year but i am well aware of its going to last me a good few years yet, as i no nothing else can go wrong,, " i shouldnt of said that , in hagrids voice" but in all seriousness they are 15 yrs old some of these cars, and you have to expect this , in all fairness i bought a 98 reg turbo rover 600 ti and sold it before engine went bang but it had had two gearboxes and 100 s spent on just keeping it on the road for all the street cred of a ford fiesta, !! the zed wether is an na or tt its beautifull car and so far ahead of its time when built, you wont regret it, ps im available for you to come round and have a drive if it helps to make your mind up , all the best paul ,
