  5. tr yand get to a meet , its well worth it it will out ideas in your head or answer some of your qestions you may have , there all in good spirits ,look in sections for info,i no you live a fair distance from most of the meets but is worth it even just once !!!
  6. shame its red,, good detail though ,, my best scalextric was the porche green one with lights and the black rs escort all with gold stripes and lights jps colours, , those were the days,
  7. yes ditto tell us what area you live and im sure someone will show you there zed or mine if you live near bye, ,,, as long as you dont start shouting 20 seconds to comply,, ,will be glad to help welcome to the club paul,,,,,,,,,,,
  8. definatley have a good look at loom , i dint change mine and wires were brittle from heat over the yerars , 15 yrs old after all , cost me in long run , as had to strip most of them out recently to replace, well my mechanic did , wish id done it whilst engine out, ,, engine loom off course , not whole car, , also consider 1. water bypass rear of engine under plenum, 2, change turbo oil seals whilst engine is out 3, rear main oils seal which i think you have to anyway once dropped engine out, hth im sure others will add more, but the wire loom in engine =bay cost me in the long run. really wish i listened to karlos g, live and learn , ps only do if its bad,
  9. if you could take some pics we could help further, the iso block you mention does it have two sets of conectors with pins,, as usually you will have one for speaker wires ,and another for power and memory functions and aerial switch remote,
  10. my mate is selling his dvdr70. phillips , hardly used it he only wants 60 for it,, only reason hes selling is its not bin used scince he bought pc ,
  11. happy birthday daz, many happy returns,,
  12. congrats daz ,, it has bin worth it i bet,, once again   :duffer: :duffer:
  13. really sorry to hear this ,, its not bin a kind welcome back to zed ownership, dont take it to heart ,, theres better days to come im sure, its not down to you luck has a way of kicking in the gonads when your down , but there always the plus side things will get better, all the best,, paul
  14. i used a chockky blok for above conections , wouldnt recomend twisting and electrical tape would use more permanet strong conection,, with above done do the same with the red/green striped wire, then this part ast least is done, ,
  15. in next part remove cover plate to rear light lft side you will see theres a black wire and a green and red striped wire, these are the two you will need , bearing in mind ive use red and white wire you will have to colour match your conections tyou your chosen colour of wire, basically the rear spoiler light will have same colour conectors, so if you cut the black wire leading to the rear light you must connect the black from rear spoiler light to it , then reconect to the end you have cut to rejoin the conection ,
  16. pic 2 showing trim where ive tucked wire to run down to rear left light
  17. here they are at last ,, right pic 1 this is probably the hardest bit , you will need some med size wire , "speaker wire size but not to thin " two lentghs of it at least 5mtrs long,. , where brake light spoiler goes thread wires through leaving enough to connect to your spoiler light , you may need to drill the hole a little to pass the wire through , , thread it though to left side of boot hatch then , top left corne there is a gromet, wires will have to run to there and trough to body of car,, i did cheat a liitle hear as removing tailgate for me was too much so i insulated wires and threaded them straight to trim of car see pic 1 ,,
  18. the bigger they are the harder to pull in the pool , as long as im the anchor its a done deal , imovable object !!!
  19. its coming just resizing photos for upload,, bloody thing , lol right jus trying to sort out my camera i have taken pics but my pc wont accept files from memory card, i have new card reader , so trying to update reinstall drivers will get this done if it kills me!!
  20. where abouts in kent are you bud? oh also welcome aboard and congrats to zed ownership ,, we have a meet bieng planned at virgina waters next sunday 5th of feb be nice to see you there,, look in south east section ,,
  21. every time i see that car i droooooll over it ,, kays old motor ,, now mickey b seniors
  22. i think you may find,, and ryan will correct me on this if im wrong,, a water bypass is where there are 5/6/ or 7 little hoses that are in back of engine ,, are changed . As they are almost impossible to get to without engine removal,, so when engine is or has bin removed everybody opts for changing these hose to one or two main ones,, newer and stronger ,as the old little ones are more brittle and prone to breaking so its commonly known as a water bypass, the one one viniboy refers to is also known more commonly as a heater matrix by pass, ,, just stopps the water going into matrix and all over your floor,, and is temporary fix untill new one is fitted , and you freeze your nuts off!!! hth.. paul ,
  23. really sorry about this will have them up today by 12pm promise!!!!
  24. that should even things up !!!!!
  25. i dunno bud but i will join you in que if it helps to get it any quicker ,
