oh dear ,, mr slater, a gentlemen like my self doesnt like to brag about what could of bin or would have bin , if the private road was long enough , but as my son is my witness who was in the zed as well 17 yrs old we was munching the road like pacmans bicth , getting closer and closer , i slowed simply because of the end of the road and didnt want to run into a brickwall , well your evo same shape as a brick!! :x: :tongue:

:tongue: .. ahem , no ,, dont be silly , the zed was killing you after 80mph bud i agree i was behind by two car lengths but that was due to the grip and bhp your evo got ,, we did agree at private track ,,, that you had me to 80 , but after that the zed was pulling you in , as on motorway , the zed was king!!! i had to keep braking to avoid hitting him,, all at 70mph of course!! :tongue:

yep i will admit i lost to 80 mph,, but the zed was legandary after that,,, as when aproaching 80mph he wasnt pulling away anymore starting to reel him in ,, but like rich said , he does have a big wieght advantage, that old evo definatley pulls bloody well , but i will further my challenge at the pod ,

lol , no 28 stone,, 4 lbs, ,im clinicly obease, !!! i almost fell over , basicaly my heart lungs have kept me going this long, because i was so fit in younger days ,but she said i wont have long left unless i change my ways , so i have a plan a stone a month is too come off ,or i wont see another 34 yrs, .. my poor zed , and to think i can stilll fit in one lol ,!!!

lol i would normally be extremeley confident but i had a bit of a shock today ,, i had a health check and was given my wieght seeing as i havent wieghed my self in 7yrs, it scared the living out of me, guess me wieght , , ???

i would be very surprised if you wasnt flooded with requests , would have to sort the serious ones from the vague , but like you say how do you charge for your time , you would probably have to estimate a bill at best , as its never easy doing a quote and sticking to it, there always something that needs replacing, but like i said before ,, if mine ever went kaboom again , i would do the v8 conversion no hesitation whatsoever, , i do love the v6 and the turbos but two engines would be too much , to bear , as for the options on v8 crate motors , limitless to funds really , good luck with this dazz

if your going to the meet theres plenty of us with some mods under the hood, the king of bling though is mr bling bg vinz , dont think hes going to virgina waters too far, but will be at national meets in summer

sorry to hear this , but word of advise ,, if you dont sort out , no claims they will take some of it, i lost 3 yrs thanks to some scum bag who broke into my car , my old carlton , i made a claim as they busted window nicked stereo and damaged cowling under the steering wheel where he tried to hot wire,, they took all of it took me 3 yrs to build that up , i didnt even no at the time there was an option on protected ncb, live and learn , how bad is the damege to the actuall car bud??
