Its all about teamwork and if one guy f*cks up you don't slap him you take him away from the rest of the team and you explain to him why and how he f*cked up! I have run the door for over 13 years and if I slapped my guys for messing up then over the years I would have probably battered 30 guys on my team at least. However if this member of your team wanted to fight you then that's a different story you arrange a time and a place then after the best man wins you shake hands and make up! By taking the action you did you showed you are not professional and sounds like you need a little help to control your temper. PS I also hit VERY hard when annoyed however that has nothing at all to do with it.
