  1. If you can make your way across to the A1, Apache & Macca will be heading up that way. Apache lives in Ripon & Macca's from Catterick
  2. OK lads, Last call for all those who want to come along to our NE / NW / Scotland joint meet this Sunday. Anybody who is interested and hasn't already got their names down, need to speak to their area Events Organiser. Should be an excellent day out. We're meeting up at Jedburgh in the Scottish Borders at around lunchtime. At the moment, we're expecting about 25 Zeds to make the trip (would be nice to make it a round 30). TurboZ (NW) has posted info, in the NW section, detailing where they are setting off from and which route they'll be taking. Scottywil (Scotland) has done the same from his area and I have done likewise from Gods Country (baring Newcastle obviously :D ). Each area has in the region of 100mile cruise up to Jedburgh, so could be last chace in 2005 to stretch her legs :D I'm also in the process of organising another three way meet in the New Year, between NE / NW /Midlands. Meeting somewhere quite central, possibly Ferrybridge Services. Details to follow. Keep an eye out in your Events and Meetings sections over the next few weeks. Cheers Steve-300ZX

Head off at 10:45am along the Western Bypass, passed Metro Center and over Scotswood Bridge. We'll then take a left, travelling past Newcastle Airport and through Ponteland and head north to Jedburgh on the A68. We should arrive in Jedburgh at around midday. Please let me know, those who plan to meet at Washington Services, so I know who we're waiting for. Those who want to meet further up the route, please let me know, so we can make arrangements. If anybody else wants to come along and their name isn't on the list, please shout up and let me know. Cheers Steve
  5. Thanks Andy. As you can probably tell, I'm no mechanic :D
  6. Thanks Dave, I knew the O2 sensors were on the downpipes, just thought these were an additional set (are they called lamber sensors?). Anyway, if taping up is quite normal, then it must be something else that's giving me the hestitation when cold. Just a thought I had this morning. Cheers anyway lads
  7. I recently fitted Mongoose exhaust with decat pipes also. My car has been hesitating for a while, when cold, and I think I can trace it back to when exhaust system was changed. Question I have is: The two sensors that go after the cat were cut and just taped up the underside of the body. Is this the correct procedure? and will these sensors still be working, could they be affecting the running of the car? Hope this makes sense. Cheers Steve

  17. When I start the car on a morning, no problems and choke is working fine. After maybe half a mile, it's as if the choke has gone off too early and runs like a bag of shite. After maybe 5 mile, when she's hot, it seems to be fine. Any ideas? Cheers Steve
  18. I haven't. Will check tomorrow. Cheers

  20. Quick question. When I'm turning right, say on a roundabout, the handbrake light is coming on. As soon as straighten up it goes off again. Don't think it's happening when I'm turning left. Just started a couple of days ago. Any ideas?? Cheers Steve
  21. Like I said Jonce, let me know next time your due to come home and I'll sort out a meet around that time. Will be good to catch up. Take care! Steve
