Yes, but how many shit copies of SE chips are kicking around. I thought I had an SE chip earlier in the year and the car was detting it's knackers off at Thor's dyno (JAE). I now have a genuine SE chip from Andy P and TBH, I do think you'd be pushed to out perform it. Recent RR day, she achieved 330RWHP. Can't see you getting a lot better than that with stock engine and tubs. Must be close on 400bhp at the flywheel.

Ryan, For what it's worth mate. My base timing has been checked and is spot on 15 degrees. I'm currently running one of Andy's chips and the performance is spot on AND more importantly, no det. I was running a different chip last summer and had the car dyno'd at JAE. Car was detting at just under 5K rpm. Since I changed to Andy's chip I can get right up the rev range with no dett. Car was dyno'd again a few weeks ago and actually out performed my 1st chip, giving me 330bhp at the back wheels (15psi). Other point I would like to make is the power band between 3000 and 4000 is awesome with my chip, so don't quite understand your comment about little power difference from stock under 4K. So, speaking from my own personal experience, I wouldn't swap my SE chip for any other.

Mines a '96TT and hydrolic Hicas was changed to electronic. My RHS inner wing/ engine bay looks the same as this one.

Not sure about the picture quality mate, but you need to sort out that fookin grass :D :D :D

Why don't you just fit a custom chip. Got mine from AndyP and it's the dogs *****cks. Car is running sweet as a nut and the fuelling is spot on. The previous chip I had seemed fine until I put the car on Thor's Dyno at JAE. Car was leaning out above 5000rpm and causing Detenation on max boost (15psi). Bought a chip from Andy couple of months ago and got it Dyno'd last month (see my result details in Dyno section). Now running 330bhp at the wheels and the car feels awsome. My SS tailpipes are not choked with carbon either. Something else I've noticed since I installed the new chip, is fuel economy. I'm getting approx 20miles more out of a tank. Send AndyP a PM, I'm sure he'll be able to sort you out.
