Good question and TBH, I expected it from Paul. My answer to that is simple it would be Barca However, this is only because of the rivalry between the two clubs up here. I would expect every Newcastle fan to say the same if it were Sunderland (fat chance of that though eh :D ) The same reason why I would expect every Chelsea or Spurs fan to want Barca to win. And Everton supporters would have wanted Milan to win last year. Most English people who watched the matched tonight haven't got the close rivalry as A Spurs/Chelsea fan might have and they are more or less a nuetral fan, probably like most on this forum. So I had no love of Arsenal or Barcalona, just the support I could give for a team representing my country and my capital city in the biggest cup final in world football. I must be one of the dying breed of patriotic Brits.

Does this not prove my point "Their Keeper". Who are you referring to? If you were supporting Arsenal as an English Club, representing London, England and the Premiership, surely you wouldn't refer to Lehmans as "Their Keeper".

You need to remember who you support Paul and how many foreigners your club fields every Saturday. Arsenal are in no way one of my favourite clubs in the Premiership, however, tonight, they were representing A. Our Capital City B. An English Team C. The Premiership Surely that was enough for us to give our support. Unfortunately, comments like I've seen on the board tonight doesn't surprise me. Like I said earlier. It's the typical English attitude lately.

This happened to me twice last year. Same gauge, middle one. I reckoned it must be from the targa seals, but could be wrong. Never did get to the bottom of it. Right pain in the ass, as it drips all over your RH binnacle. Anyone got any idea on the cause and the best fix.

I work for Nissan at the factory in Washington. Believe me, the wage bill in the UK is just as high as it is in Japan. They didn't opt to manufacture cars in the NE of England because of cheap labour. It was mainly down to logistics and tax laws for selling Japanese built cars in countries like France, Italy & Germany. They make approx 500,000 cars/trucks in Washington & Barcelona and they are exempt from these taxes as they are classed as European vehicles. The current problem however is about labour rates and also logistics. Many car manufacturers are opening new plants in former eastern European countries (Hungary, Romania, Slovakia). These are worrying times for all car workers in Western Europe. 9 major plants have closed in Western Europe recently and the same number has opened in these low cost countries. Nissan has, only last week, announced that they plan to invest £200M in a brand new plant in St. Petersburg in the Soviet Union. You can imagine how much the wage bill will be there.

Right lads, As you all know, our Regional Events Co-ordinators have been PM'ing you for the past couple of weeks to collect details from you to help the club "box off" the Membership packs. I now have the data back from 5 areas (NE/NW/SE/SW and Mids), however, the total members from these 5 areas is 146. I'm expecting the data back from South Central, Scotland and Wales today and TBH I'll be surprised if we top 200. The entire club membership is approx 450. So, I'm asking you all again. If you haven't sent your details to your REO's, can you please do so ASAP. I'm going to leave it open for one more week and then the details will be sent to the printers. If you want your packs mailed out before JAE, then you have one week before you miss the boat. If you are a member and don't know who your REO is, then just PM me your details and I'll sort out.
