Nissan's 350Z engine isn't a Renault sourced one.
I work for Nissan at the Sunderland plant. I can 100% guarrantee that the 350 engine is an all Nissan engine. It was absolutley nothing to do with Renault. It is used in the 350Z, the Murano and that shitty Renault Vel Satis or whatever you called it. They used the Nissan engine for their car. It was developed at Nissan Technology Centre in Yokohama and is manufactured at their Tochigi plant. FACT

If you have issues with the club committee or the way in which this forum is moderated, then you need to raise the issues with the committee, via PM or email and not in an open forum. I refuse to get into a debate with you about this Martin, we've been here before. You know this is not to correct way to raise issues with the committee.

Are you suggesting we have another team of members (a Super Committee) to watch over the committee. If so, who is going to watch over them, or do we form another group called the Superior Super Committee to watch over the Super Committee. :headvswal :headvswal :headvswal Where do you suggest we stop? This club is moderated by the forum committee and moderators. 99.9% of the time, everything runs very smoothly, with no major issues. It's always the same small group of members who are determined to cause bad feeling within this club. A section from the club's AUP: The Acceptable Use Policy applies to every user of this Forum. Please observe the rules and guidelines when using this Forum. Failure to abide by the policy will result in a Warning from the Moderators. An example of when a member may recieve a warning from a moderator: Flagrant disregard for the interests of the community (anti community spirit) Clearly, there has been far too much of this anti community spirit recently. Something we need to rectify.

Understand why you think that Paul, however, we shouldn't allow the majority to suffer because of the few who are hell bent on causing trouble and bad feeling on the board. Eileen. Yes, your post was moved to storage but not because of anything you posted. It was moved because of posts by other members, after your initial post.

October's Meet
C'mon lads, give Stella a break. He's arranging next months meet. We can always do Sutton Bank in November and Seaburn in December. It's not as if next month is the last meet for a year or anything like that. He's doing this as a favour for Apache, as he's away on his jollies.

2007 Club Calendar
Dear members, As most of you know, this year’s club calendar was a bit of a disaster. The quality of the calendar, in terms of the paper quality, was poor. Many members who paid up front for their calendars, didn’t receive them and members who were lucky enough to get one, didn’t receive them until well into 2006. It’s time to decide if we, as a club, want to continue producing a 300ZX.co.uk club calendar. It would be the easy option to stop making a club calendar; however, we feel the calendar is an important part of the club. This year the club committee will be taking full responsibility of the 2007 calendar. We have selected a professional printing company to produce our calendar. It is in fact the same company that printed our Membership Pack documentation. The printing company will also be mailing the calendars direct to our members. We can guarantee that any member, who places an order for a calendar, will have it on their doorstep well before Christmas. The calendar will be A3 in size, using top quality glossy paper and every sheet will be printed, using the latest high tech printing machinery (last years calendars were photocopied and not printed). Due to the bad experience from last year and as a goodwill gesture from the club, this years calendar's will be subsidised by the club. The cost of the calendars to our members will be £10 incl. delivery. This is a 50% reduction in cost from last year, even with the superior quality product. We will be posting a copy of this PM in a thread, in the Z Related General Discussions Forum. If you are interested in a 2007 Calendar, could you please add your name to the list. If we could ask you to do this within 14 days. Once we have the full list of members, we’ll be able to place the order and get the ball rolling. We'l also let you know how to pay. If you require more than 1 calendar, let us know. Thanks The 300ZX.co.uk Committee

October Meet?
Sounds like an excellent idea Kim. I know the road from Helmsley back to Teeside is a superb drive. Not sure if Phil has something up his sleeve for October though. He did mention something on Sunday. If he has, we could do it in November.
