Hi There! I have a full unorthodox Lightweight Pulley set up on my zed. I've noticed on the Power Steering Pully the belt keeps jumping over a notch. I've had this seen to on numerous occasions but it keeps happening. This type of pulley doesn't have "shoulders" to prevent this occurring. Do you think it's the pulley itself or something more sinister? the mechanic at the time who put the belt back on (after my water pump went) said there's a bit of play in the pump itself that could be causing the belt to jump...should there be play in the pump? I thinking about replacing the pulley with one with increased shoulder height but was wondering whether i'd need a new pump as well? Thanks in advance. Andy

Hi guys, I’m after a little advice, I’ve recently purchased the Unorthodox Racing Pulley Set along with the associated belts etc. as I looking for ways to increase hp whist at the same time it just happens I need to swap the alternator belt anyway. Hence as to why I bought this kit. However, I’m now not sure whether this is a good or bad thing to do, the last thing I want to do is put additional pressure/stress on the crank or even other engine components themselves. Has anyone had one of these kits fitted and are they any concerns I need to be aware of? Generally is this a safe and effective modification? Cheers guys

I put a little more water in the rad this morning and had it up on a ramp but couldnt see anything leaking this time? However I have noticed the rad cap is slightly faulty. It is hissing slightly. I took it off and put more water in and turned the engine on. I noticed air and the water was bubbling? could this be a head gasket issue? I'm thinking the water may of been leaking from the faulty rad cap? there is no water in the oil and the oil filter cap seems fine... Just not sure why it is bubbling, trapped air maybe?

Last night i noticed the car over revving slightly and steam coming from the engine bay. This was only after a 5 min drive. I left it until this morning when cool, and i had to put nearly 5ltrs of water back into the rad. I looked under the car and water was dripping. Does anyone know were it could be leaking from? Cheers guys! Tried to up load some pics within my profile but i dont think its worked :-/ I'll keep trying. the cars pretty standard apart from a mongoose exhaust system, alloys and a flush spoiler as appose to the standard rubber one that tends to get filled with water.

Hi there! I have recently bought the car of my dreams, 300zx tt auto in black. i was initially looking for a manual but nearly everyone i hadbeen to look at had been abused. i then came across an auto that was in excellent condition and had been owned by an enthusiast and never looked back. it drives fantastic. The car isnt perfect by all means. the targa roof leaks in heavy rain and it has a small oil leak. However it has had a reconditioned engine installed by zed world amd other small modifications so i am happy. My ambition is to fit the wide arch kit on it when i can afford it but my main focus is to concentrate on making sure it is mechanically sound before i think about buying bodykits etc. Does anyone have any info regarding fitting a wide arch kit? Ur help would be much appreciated. Also, could anyone tell me if there is any meets/shows in the yorkshire region coming up. Cheers andy
