Well, unfortunatly the worst happened this morning, my dads condition deteriorated rapidly, he suffered a major stroke, his heart condition worsened and at about noon i'd say, he passed away :( I couldnt have asked for a better father, he was a real inspiration to me.. Rest in peace dad... I'll take good care of things, especially the zed... Sorry to bring a sorrow mood to the forum but I just feel the need to vent somewhere...

Probably dirty connection somewhere, clean them all up, and if it doesnt work, then do it again, and again if needs be :p That happened to me, it took us a week of faffing to work out it was a dirty injector connection causing it, we were almost convinced it was a dead injector but decided to give it one last try with the contact cleaner and it worked :) As it happens, the fuel line directly above it had been leaking, which probably caused it, check for this too.

Its allright, but I think the opening is too large, I prefer the origonal strosek, cue Scg c's 'zelda' and gruntpa64's

homebrew, are you viewing the X360 in high definition? If so, the graphics are better than the PC and thats a fact, there are features such as heat haze which are in the 360 version but not the pc. And no PC is better than a 360 hardware wise so don't even try and convince yourself that it is ;)

vin number certainly does go on the MOT, and yes computerised mot's are being introduced but plenty of places still dont do them. I know there is a procedure where if the car gets stolen, you can get the plate back after a year under some conditions. You'd think that there would be a similar thing for if you scrap the car.

bit torrent is good if you know how to use it (and its not difficult). Limewire is gash, really, the software is really badly written java crap which sucks up your cpu resources in huge big chunks, slowing down even the most powerful pc to a crawl. Then once you have got past the monumental loading time, you find what you want it not available, and all you get is sick porn in your search results. Usenet is the way forward for speed, you will nearly always max out your connection using this, only it is pretty complicated to use and theres a limited choice of whats available to download. Also its really expensive, 20gb for 8 quid, thats hardly a lot.

Made an unexpected return home from uni yesterday after recieving the news that my dad had been admitted to hospital following what was described at the time as a 'heart attack'. Well the good news is that the doctors dont it was, either way, he's not in such a good way, and is currently being treated and kept under observation, they think theres a good chance he won't be out for christmas, which has kind of put a downer on things. I know a select few of you guys know him, so thought i'd put this on here. Any well wishing messages will be passed onto him. Simon.

Almost certainly a dodgy speed signal causing that, do you have an intermittant speedo too? If its an import than it could be a dodgy convertor chip, or a faulty speed sensor. It wont be low fluid, the PAS still works even when the fluid is so low theres none in the reservoir (makes an awful noise though, found this out as it dropped all the fluid onto the m6 on the way to danny's).
