I've had my zed for two years now and covered 7000 miles in that time. The thing is since I've owned it there's been a strange bottom end knock. When I first purchased the car I took it straight to zed world for a service. Jamie told me the bottom end was knocking but that was two years ago and 7000 miles later. The knock is no worse and the knock goes away as soon as I start putting my foot down. The knock is more noticeable at low speed then goes away at faster speed. I was told by Jamie at zed world that my car would only probely last a 1000 miles max. But it's still going strong could it be anything else this strange knock??? I would be grateful for anybodys help. Cheers aron

hi ive got a single exit hks super drager system, with decats, its a 3inch system with 6 inch tailpipe. its got the silencers on which doesnt make it loud. its a qaulity sound that it produces. and its not as loud as my twin exit mongoose system i had, aron

hi, thats just the ball joint that goes on the hub side. i did replace these too as they always wear! you want the actual hicas arms you can get them of ebay i paid £20 each side. just type in 300zx rear inner tie rod that should help aron

ive got the fibre glass ones, but want to do something different with them. do you no any good companies that would be able to wrap them in carbon fibre for me? cheers aron

im running 15psi on stock internals and tubs. only upgrade zedworld ecu upgrade. oh and brand newly installed hks super drager exhaust and decats. thing is i think a disaster is on its way, bottom end has been knocking for a year only a little which a cant work out. and over the weekend gearbox has started whinning. oh no aron

do not get either kit. iv got the 2nd pic kit. rubbish fit they need cutting down on the tb pipes, then you havent got the rolled ends which makes it harder to get a tight seal, ie little boost leaks. go for a good set like z1 motorsport kit

Hi all. Has anyone had the Godspeed rear control arms from the USA? The problem I'm having is getting them to fit in the subframe! There just not wide enough. Could there be anyway round this? Cheers

hi all, my brother is doing all the work on my z hes now come round to installing my subframe bushes. hes removed the old ones keeping the metal lip at the bottom of the bush. he now saying he cant fit new ones as there the same size as the gap in the subframe (to tight) also he says theres two little studs that stick out half way down which would tear against the bush if you could force it down?? also what happens with the piece that unattaches from the bush ie it comes in half more or less. any help would be great as i cant wait to hurry up and get my car back on the road:thumbup1:

mine was exactly the same as above. n/s/r o/s/r outer hub bushes also both hicas arms. so i just bought the eliminator lit from z centre.

ive not long had hsd smoothie coilovers and there mint. they have a 16 stage damping settings. ive had mine slammed with stage 10 damping it feels great.

cut out both rear arches and go for the rear wide arch kit from z centre.

just buy the uprated tension rods from z centre, then you dont have to bother with the big bushes!

jack your car up and both sides, one at a time like, then give your wheel a wiggle, might be your wheel bearing. my n/s/r went the same last week. all of a sudden knocking noise, try it!

well guys it must just be unlucky for me on this occasion. think ill go for a complete new bearing kit instead of buying a complete hub.

3 weeks ago i had a o/s/r hub swap as recommended by z world instead of changing the bearing. so i had the work carried out by z centre. and the other day the n/s/r wheel bearing has collapsed :( ive checked out all my service history by previous owners and the bearings have been done before. recenlty 2006. has anybody had these problems with there zs??

hi guys im after the stillen gtz-r 11 front bumper think it looks mint, does anybody no weather you can get them in this country? there not a bad price in the us $369.00 but its the freight cost thats the problem $500. and im not paying that. so anybody can help?????

sorry to hear about the bottom end, i purchased my 300zx tt 7 months ago, with the bottom end slightly knocking 2500 miles later its still going. strange! took it to be serviced at zed world in december and they told me its def the bottom end and it will prob last about 1000 miles. but its still going strong. has anyone experienced this? ie lasting this long!

ive purshased Drift Iridium 52mm Turbo Boost Gauge. its come to wiring into the ignition barrel, or thats what it says on the instruction. but i dont no which cable it is on the ignition. anybody have an idea? cheers guys

sorry guys forgot to mention the size of my tyres. 265 35 18 on the rear 235 45 18 on the fronts

about £150 a tyre might pay a little bit more!
