hi, the girlfriends just bought one last wk on an 07 plate and iv gotta say is bloody quick but do you guys reckon it would it beat my 300zx tt manual? she's been trying to wind me up all wk saying how it would beat the zed, i took it out yesterday for the 1st time and it shifts but then they do have 257bhp, i had a corrado g60 celica gt4 and soarer tt prior to the zed and if im honest id say it would beat them all but then again so would the zed so wot do you all reckon and has anyone had any experience with them before? i refuse to be beating by sum mazda hot hatch haha.

hi, due to a baby on the way it looks like i might have to do the unthinkable and get rid of my zed, its a 93 lwb import tt manual, 80,000 miles, imported in 2006, when i bought it i was told it had a performance ecu and the injectors had been upgraded, single exit exhaust pipe, is also has some sort of induction kit on (greddy i think) 18'' alloys with good tyres, targa roof, interiors in really good condition, the prob is its been parked up for the last few months so theres no tax or test on it, its also been painted in matt black (not everyones cup of tea) and has a littlepatch of rust on the back pass arch, hasnt gone all the way thru just on the outer skin, engine has a slight tap but took it to turbopacs in durham and was told it just needs a good service, all in all id say she was in good nick, just wondered what you guys thort she might be worth? thanks, craig.

i got a couple off a few years back with a couple of long screwdrivers and alot of hard work, but to be fair i also took quite abit of paint of the rim, i certainly wouldn't try i again, my arms still haven't recovered from it haha.

mines painted in matt black mate, bought it like that and to be honest i cant wait to get it painted, it does looks different and i think it gives the car abit of a mean look which i liked wen i first got it but i noticed esp summer time wen i was parked nxt to the girlfreinds she must of just polished her cos it had a lovely deep shine and it made mine look shite, on the plus side any scratches or anything and its 3 quid a tin quick blast ova and its good as new

hi, wen i bought the car the owner said it had been remapped and the injectors replaced with bigger ones, out of curiosity iv just checked the ecu and its called a spl computer brain racing team, now that didnt mean a great deal to me so i went on to google and according to that its a tuning part for the skyline r32 gtr, does any1 know anything about it or know if ther any good? and wot sort of injectors will i be using? cheers, craig.

if it was the bearings does anyone know how long you get b4 they completly go? mines been doing it for a few months now, started of as a slight tapping then one day started it and it was more of a knocking but sometimes it goes back to a tapping haha, its really annoying me, oil pressures fine, runs fine, powers there, just this dam noise, sorry for the hijack icewhitebear

the tyres are alot wider than what were on baz, yeah 8ace i had the same trouble and had to use a spark plug socket aswel, so youv had no bother using the standard wheel nuts? yts weazel they are lower profile and alot wider maybe thats what it is then, thanks alot lads.

just bought a set of 18'' wheels of a skyline, the same ones that 8ace has in the cars for sale section, they fit perfectly but the car feels unsteady and seems to be pulling me all over the road, i had to use my original wheels nuts might this be the problem? the car was driving perfectly before i put them on. thanks.

iv got the same bother hudson, bought mine about 3 months back probs only done 500miles since then, it had a slight tapping that seemed to go once warmed up then a couple of weeks back developed in a knocking sound that wont go away, iv tried removing each coil pack whilst holding the revs at 2500 rpm to see if the knocking goes away as suggested by stellaz didnt make any difference though, so we are guna remove the sump tommoro and see whats what, hope you get yours sorted soon mate.

forgot to say that big stupid spoiler is no longer on the car, replaced it with the org one, thank god.

just replaced my original wheels and iv noticed that all for tyres have worn down on the inside, the outsides and middle are in perfect condition, any ideas what could be causing this, just sounds abit strange having all four worn. cheers.

yeah think we are guna take the engine out just to be sure, does anyone know if all zx's have the same bearings? and which 1s are the best to get?

am hoping its guna be ok on the basis that since i heard the noise its only done around 10miles, was looking at an old thread from stellaz and thers a comment from mikeybean who says it can be done without taking the engine out, not really arsed if we hav2 cos weve got a hoist its just abit of a fanny on thats all, thanks for the replies.

oil pressure sems ok, its aftermarket greddy so would have thought it would be accurate, only started a couple of days ago, b4 that it was a slight tapping noise really only notice it with bonnet up but on tuesday pullin up to a junction i could hear it even tho i was in the car, lifted the bonnet and it was a definate knocking instead of a tapping.

yeah thats what it sounds like stellaz (shit) or well, im sure iv read on here somewhere that you can do it without taking the engine out? anyone know where id get the shells from or is it nissan only? i will try the coil pack procedure first tho just to make sure, anyone what sort of cost im looking at? brother will be doin the work so its cost only for parts, thanks for the info lads.
