  1. can you see if the stater is getting a 12v supply when you turn the key , you will do this handy enough on the ramp anbd get some one inside , just use a voltmeter it will tell you if its getting any voltage

  5. got a set of 8 pot k sport alipers for the front was wondering has anyone fitted the front caliper on the rear
  6. i can get a set of k sport 8 pot calipers from an evo six for €300 this is the part BKNS250-841SO where could i get the brackets for the 300 zx
  7. i replaced all bearings and ran a castrol 10w 40 in her but i had to get the crank ground so unless i did something wrong i wont know till i strip it again
  8. after setting up the timing im still getting a bottom end noise , engine has to come back out not too happy , more money
  9. i put mine on after it went in the altenator harness can be a tight fit though

  13. im having the same problem , if i earth pin 44 will i set the timing to 25
  14. :huh:okay here it goes , set my timing to 25 btdc last night and a harsh knock only when i blip the thrrottle , not in it high in the rev range here is my ecu number UJ A18-A98 MD7 2420 could this be pinking , or dett , what can i do , my valve timing was out one tooth sorted that , good power , i rebuild the engine with all new bearings and rings , PLEASE HELP , will i have to take her out :no:
  15. i had it runing but was a serious knock in her then adjusted the cas noise nearly gone could this be pinking , would the dett sensor not pick it up :stupid:
  16. if you had a diagnostic tool that reads live data could you do it that way also mine was auto now manual so should i put it to 25 btdc

  22. best bet i got mine on ebay , i think its nissan performance in the states , around £190 genuine part , check it out in motors section
  23. hi oilman , so im still having flifter noise , can you recommend anything to get rid of the noise
  24. it gave a good bit of white smoke but it cleared , it was out by one tooth on all four cams was wondering why it was down on power i thought i could hear a big end lets hope it was pinking , jim it ran well started no probs but had to adjust the cas all the wayto get some power from her
  25. just something to keep an eye out for il let ye know the news tmr hope it will run better
