  3. Hi all As some of you know I've been selling off bits of my track spec zed. Well it would appear that someone wanted it all but didn't want to pay!!!!! Early hours of sunday morning I had my turbos, brakes and wheels/tyres nicked. It's all quite rare/disctinctive stuff so if you're offered it or see it for sale anywhere please let me know as many details as you can. Appreciate your help. Details are: 2x HKS GT2530 Turbos with HKS Actuators Like new condition Greddy 356mm 6 Pot Brake Kit These are seriosuly rare and v distinctive with their Gold calipers. Again, v good condition. No damage, some corrosion on the braided hoses, still got stickers on the calipers. Finally a set of 18" Rota Grid Drift in Bronze These are a very rare size as my zed was wide arched so if offered as a set should stick out liek a sore thumb. In V good nic, NO kerb rash at all, BUT do have white patches on the spokes and rims where the straps rubbed them on the trailer so very disctinctive damage - you wouldn't get this with road car wheels. (no pics of marks I'm afraid). Sizes are: 2 18x9.5 ET20 offset 5x114 2 18x10 ET15 offset 5x114 They were fitted with well worn Toyo 888s and one look at these would show track use not road - they've seen serious heat and it's obvious. So Guys, if you see, hear of, or are offered any of the above then PLEASE let me know as much detail as possible. This is expensive kit and I was relying on it's sale to fund my new build. and MODS, if there's a better place for this thread and/or you could update my for sale threads with STOLEN then all help much appreciated. Cheers
  4. and yeah - looking forward to getting on the track with yr zed pal - muchos funos methinks
  5. Thankyou sir! no crumpet implications taken! Nah not grey fella, it's actually imperial blue which is the Escort Cossie colour - bit different but still going with the skyline and blue theme.:cool2: Ha, well we'll find out soon enough as I'm hoping to map her next week altho when i can get it on the rollers will be a different matter. Am going to map it myself so will def get it on the rollers and see what she's doing, altho as it will be all track and race stuff i'm not chasing figures, going for reliable and safe. Could be tempted for a little max out on the rollers tho :gunsmilie: Yeah ok mate, pick them up when the budgies better
  6. missed out the under bonnet altho looks lots different now
  7. here ya go bud, would apologise for hijacking ya thread but you wanted to see the zeds replacement!! Doesn't really look like this anymore but not got any pics since suspension on - on the floor, floor cut and seats in, and engine bay tidied right up with batt relocate inside etc - but gives you an idea. Fully built engine and hks 2540s etc so should be lively. One pic shows the swirl pot and pumps etc going in boot, another the nitrons and APs on etc.
  8. doesn't matter once it's caged up anyway as that will add more rigidity than any strut brace. Pez, gonna find some pics of the liner bud
  9. oh yeah you can, weird lol, clearly my age should be "to old to use forums" LOL
  10. err, can you not post on this thread anymore?
  11. Do they do a GTR Wingroad? I'd be up for one of them lol Shocker on the insurance though, it's like it was years ago when anything imported was just like err, dunno, how about £1500?
  12. 34 Z32 TT race car - well, the bits that are left to sell Rangey Sport Supercharged - Daily & Tow car R32 GTR Race car, (in build) 91 Discovery Bobtail off roader 98 Pajero V6 "leant" to the old man about 3 yrs ago and seemingly adopted lol
  13. don't give away my secret weapon chief, those new style race boots are worth a second a lap
  14. dude, was gonna post some pics of the gtr but realised dont have them on photobucket, so until i can be a*sed to put them on yr gonna have to wait for the pink tiger striped liner lol - soon bud :cool2:
  15. Most RX7s run that set up but think main reason is because they have lots of room up front. Whifbitz TA and Drift rex's ran it but I believe it's not quite as simple as just bolting in that formation. Can find out more form the whifbitz guys if you want pez but might be a bit of grief for little benefit. Then again, i'm no expert so don't listen to me lol :whistling:
  16. Pez, as per pm, make sure it's big enough dude
  17. no it doesn't, there's a great rear shot of that bad boy lol
  18.:rofl::rofl: yeah but he didn't go for the full ground effect option (dont know how to post pics properly so hope the link works) http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=http://www.liftruck.co.uk/images/dynamow/DCP00652.JPG&imgrefurl=http://www.liftruck.co.uk/dynamow_hydrostatic_lawn_mower.htm&usg=__19z-krtAW2VMHGncg2yB5UJbSR8=&h=864&w=1152&sz=208&hl=en&start=98&itbs=1&tbnid=mntPJcTmVllG4M:&tbnh=113&tbnw=150&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dride%2Bon%2Bmower%2Bback%26start%3D84%26hl%3Den%26safe%3Doff%26sa%3DN%26gbv%3D2%26ndsp%3D21%26tbs%3Disch:1
  19. My 2ps worth again, as a few people have said, many exhausts will flow perfectly well enough to supply you 500+bhp. However, not wanting to be one who misses the point of a thread I'm getting a bit confused. If money is no object then go for a custom, titanium system that the manufacturer consults you on with regards your requirements, spool/top end/torque blah blah blah and spend a fortune. If you just want an exhaust that will not restrain you from acheiving 500bhp+ then pick anyhting from the mentions above - it really isn't a biggy, unless you're tyring to achieve 500 ponies with nothing more than an exhaust, at which point the straightest, most free flowing, best grade s/s zorst ain't gonna get you there. At the end of the day I don't really mind what zorst you go for chap, but it seems that if you want advice, the advice from me, who's car has run well in excess of 500bhp is that you don't need to waste your money on something stoopid expensive. FYI I was running std elbows. Will post dyno sheets when i can be arsed to scan them in, prob over the weekend. Smithy's comments I think are valuable, as are japslappers. At the end of the day bud 500bhp is easy with a half decent engine and tubs so spend your money elsewhwere, get a decent zorst and enjoy it :) Brand snobbery etc shouldn't even figure PS mine's for sale - you can give me £2k for that and I guarantee it will do 1200bhp
  20. Shouldn't need to be too fancy for that of BHP fella. Mine ran 580 horses and 600 torques with a custom s/s system, 2.5 inch all the way through with just large back boxes, was never a problem. No experience of the off the shelf stuff. If there really is no compromise on your project then speak to Nortech and get them to knock you up a custom titanium jobby  Will flow whatever you can throw at it and be mega light too - and bluey tinged :cool:
  21.:rofl::rofl::rofl: Would prob give more accurate power figures than some I've seen
  22. Keep at it fella, and keep up the home made toolkit:gunsmilie:
  23. you waiting for pedal pressure?
  24. No probs But before you commit, check out Tomy site, sure they do some much smaller ones that hide in the corners and restrict the airflow - you wanna be careful with that "my first big brake kit" you're running :tt2:
  25. Just read that thread from start to finish rather than scan it as before and I have 2 things say: 1 JapSlapper you're a nutter - Love It  2 That is gonna be a serious car. Lot's of top bits going into it and a considered build with a single minded purpose - drift/track. Cant be bothered to scroll back and quote it properly but you mentioned, if it works it stays on, if it doesn't then it goes. My experience of my own track build is that altho this is an expensive option, it's the right way to go when you are after that end result. Top Work fella, wish i wasnt breaking mine now there's another track focused zed to play with :smash: Anything i might be able to help with mate happy to tell you what I can - altho don't even ask about that boost controller LOL. oh, and what you need is a autobahn888 fmic :rofl::rofl::cool:
