Big brake advice
you can go as big as you like bud (within reason) just need custom brackets to move the calipers out to fit them :) ref rims, with japslapper on that, very much depends on style of rim, you can get pretty big brakes under 17s if you have the right hoopage :flowers: Example, I had 18" rota grid drifts with slicks on, then bought 18" rota gtr-d for my wets which wouldn't go over the calipers (AP). Reason being that to get the dish on them, the rim was smaller diameter at the front rather than the back, so had to change them

Big brake advice
Before I put the proper AP kit on my track zed I was running 330mm AP discs with custom bells and brackets and the std 4 pot calipers and they were awesome. The 4pots are well up to the job, it's the size of the disc that makes std brakes rubbish. Big disc = more leverage and more cooling = MUCH better stopping and no fade. Admittedly the full 356m 6 pot AP kit was a step up again but when i first did it keeping the std 4pot calipers saved me a lot of money. Saying that, back then the cheap big brake kits such as k sport weren't available - 2002.

Anyone going on the Tunnel Run in October?
err, what is this exactly? sounds intriuging. Might be a good one for the liner before she comes off the road for good. Although I put an extra box in the zorst tonight to try and get past track db regs so wont be sounding as good in tunnels as before :(

Yeah cheers for the support guys, appreciate you all keeping your eyes open for me. Dazvert - I agree mate, I'm not holding out much hope, but then the brakes at least are pretty distinctive and so if enough people know they're nicked they may crop up on a forum, gumtree etc so you gotta try eh?- Stolen - important fao mods
err, no they're the ads from before they were nicked. I was out all day yesterday and not got round to pulling them yet :(- Stolen - important fao mods
Nice one thanks Yeah, makes you wonder *****- Stolen - important fao mods
Thanks mate, but these are my ads - not taken them down yet - am wondering whether to post on there that they were nicked rather than just pull them. Keep up the good spotting tho fella - Stolen - important fao mods
cheers chap, get it up there for me!!- Stolen - important fao mods
Oh, tubs will also fit golf, astra apparently so if anyone is on such a forum then again, let me know and I wont need to join up and plead to be able to post ta- Stolen - important fao mods
yeah the tubs will fit 200sx, so will the brakes (a lot of them do conversions to take skyline/300zx brakes). The wheels will go on too although the offset on the rears might be a bit strong, then again the drifters love that. I don't have memebrship of 200sx - can you post as a newbie? If Anyone who's a regular on there could post a copy of this thread that would be great, cheers Pistonhads is a shout tho cheers fella- Stolen - important fao mods
cheers pal, once identified i think that would be stage one of the retribution!! but tbh want my gear back more than anything - Stolen - important fao mods
