Yes. Haven't you been reading the thread? Unless the mechanic is dressed like that, hes not good enough to strip the engine. (don't worry Jeff we know You ware the fishnets and suspenders under your Coveralls) As long as i can get some pictures of him draped over the bonnet after. In suitable attire as shown, then all is good.

dont get me started on speed humps. bloody hate the damn things. there are a few roads i cant even get down and the distance from the front of the bumper to the front wheels just doesnt give me enough clearance. dreading the day i go down a one way street just to encounter a speed hump i cant use. with traffic behind me.

Nice one jeff, ill agree about the handling difference once you dont have a wobbly hicas arm, mine feels so much more stable going around corners now. also no strange wobble at 60mph that i had on the day i took mine for the first MOT. just need to get the tracking at least checked to save the tyres incase i havent put it back to straight.

Aah, bit more relaxed about it than me then, if its not a mankini, they definitely have to be showing a bit of leg in fishnets and suspender, or at least one of those black fluffy scarf accessories..

+1 totally agree, theres no way id let any old rabble dismantal my engine. Plus you can get some stunning shots of him drapped over your bonnet once complete........ in full make-up, stockings, suspenders and a basque. So yes, Jimmer it is.

yes, the auto does have just 4 gears, but there is also a nifty trick it does. that makes it seem as though it has 5. MPG is about the same if i remember from a thread we once had discussing this. My auto zed, cruised at 70mph at 2800 revs, which is almost the same as my manual

No problem mate, I'm realistic though, it happens. my mum was in work for 45 years and due to the recession she ended up jobless. so it happens even to the best of us. (my mum is the best lol) Though my joblessness was totally different. but just glad things are starting to piece together. Cant see why i wont get a job with the haulage firm though, unless he just doesnt have any spaces. the benefit of having 3 family members there already helps.

I know it sounds strange but its like a big weight has been lifted off my shoulders. should of played the lottery tonight lol, had a good day so far. taken the kids out so they could enjoy them selves. spurs are now in the last 8 of the champions league, and the car was running smooth and sweet. Job search hard now, but i have a phone number to ring first. already met the boss of a haulage firm that my dad, and two uncles work for, also my best mate from school, also works for them. he told me to give him a ring once the car was sorted out and he will see if he has a place. so first thing tomorrow morning, im ringing him. Other wise, ill have to restart my business back up, but that's going to be harder to do with low funds.

Thanks matey. now to get my ass back into work considering the car is back on the road. happy days. Right in time for summer as well. going to give her a service soon. get her all nicely cleaned and polished up and see if she scrubs up well. also going to change my plenum over for my shiny one, though i need some polished throttle bodies now to match the plenum. My alloys are going back on her tomorrow as well at some point. and the rear bumper is coming off again, going to have a look at getting that panel in a bit more so the rear bumper goes on better. also going to be looking at sorting out my rear end bump near the rear tail lights, either smoothing it over with the half ton of body filler i have. or getting my body hammers out and giving it a go at panel beating it back into shape. with the shaping blocks behind it. See what i can do with her with out spending too much just yet. Time to get her sorted out and ready.

I have 2 different sorts of 300zx.co.uk stickers, a few large style and a few small style. They were in a envelope that came with all the paper work of the car. i even have a original 300zx.co.uk subscribers booklet, which i never got when i subscribed and looks really cool. Not sure if you want me to send them too you to have a look at (as long as they get sent back) you can check to see if the ones you want making up are the same as the new style or old style if that makes any sense.

I don't do this "job" for rewards, the reward is making sure good information gets across that helps someone get there beloved back on the road. the reward is making new friends and enjoying a shared interest together. Personally i really don't give too hoots where my membership cash goes. it could go into the pockets of those who run the place for all i care. £15 a year is pittance. even though I'm currently jobless. When i first joined the site, i didnt join and pay to wonder where my cash was going, or what it was being spent on. and no offence, but £15 isn't exactly "hard earned" unless your cleaning bathrooms with a tooth brush for 15p a day. JAE is awesome, i agree more shows or events, but then what happens when we rinse the pot and the servers go down hard. not a good out come to say the least. I Gave my £20 sub, and will continue to pay my £15 a year membership fee. i don't want anything back in return, and i really don't care as long as i can enjoy the banter, meet some good people and have a good laugh. What is the big fuss about how much the club has anyway? So many emulators out now, you can pretty much ditch the old consoles and get stuck in playing them on PC, even playstation 1 games.

After the start of the year ive had mate, trust me you have no idea what it means for me to get that car back on the road and legal. I got all emotional finally being able to take the kids to the park so they could enjoy them selves. And apart from my daughter telling me to slow down, and then going daddy speed up, when going down a hill only for her to go "weeeeeeee" in my ear from the back seats, then giggling her butt off, yeah loved it mate. finally for the first time since the start of the year something finally went right. Mikey im glad your enjoying it mate.
