  1. Following on from some advice given on here, I am undecided as to which Stillen front lip would look best on my car. My car is in black - see first picture: Here are the options: Stillen GTZ extension - see second picture or Stillen type III lip - see last picture. I am leaning towards the type III as it looks as if it sits a little lower than the GTZ. My only concern is that i dont know if the front will start to look a bit too "busy" especially when you consider that a number plate has to go on there too. What do you lot think? any other suggestions? I am trying to keep the swage line running from front to back. Cheers peeps, I would be interested to hear your opinions.
  2. Yep as above, sounds like a dry joint - can be soldered, but not a guaranteed fix so a straight swap is probably best. I had mine soldered recently as was doing the same, got a bit better, but still drops to zero from time to time. Annoyingly if it sticks on 0 for too long the steering goes heavy and the HICAS light comes on. ( i believe this is to do with the speed sensor)
  3. :duffer: Happy Birthday :duffer:
  4. ok well that would make sense as there is no money in my paypal account. Cheers guys. Smithy we still on for that deal??
  5. Once again Graham, you come to the rescue, cheers mate you area star.
  6. Ok mate - but a hundred quid for your car seems a bit cheap, tell you what lets make it 2 hundred then i wont feel so guilty.
  7. Can anybody help me find them? pics would help. Thanks people, i need to give them a clean, any tips or advice?
  8. Thanks guys, are these connections easy to get to? if so any tips? or pics of locations etc? cheers P
  9. yeah - clicking on personal tab, then selecting gift, then it gives me the amount i pay and the amount that the receiver gets. Dunno, i'll try it again next time i send some cash to someone.
  10. Why is it when i try to send money as a gift - i still get charged fees? I hate the fact that we, the general public get shafted by all and sundry! Ebay, paypal, Microsoft, Labour, Tories, government, councils, taxman, and anybody else who has us by the balls. Rant over - any answers bout the paypal fees??
  11. I do have it chipped and upgraded induction system, the next performance mod was going to be a new exhaust anyway, i just hoped that i would have a few months without paying out on her. :death: Si - how does one take extra care of the turbo seals? cheers guys - in the meantime am i going to make it worse by driving her? Is there any way of unblocking?
  12. Hello peeps, I just drove home from work and tried booting up the dual carriage way and the car seemed really under powered (boost gauge indicated full boost) and then a warning light came on.... i think it was the cat overheating warning light... It came on for a couple of seconds, then went out, i was then obviously driving super gently, it came on again for a second or so then went out again, then stayed off till i got home. Car sounds fine, was running perfect this morning, should i be worried? and what do i need to do? I guess that if i get a new de catted exhaust would this solve things? Thanks guys, any advice would be greatly appreciated. p
  13. Good call Stella, I need to get my list in. I'm gonna do a bit of a google crash course and get them up tonight or tomorrow. :thumbup1:

  15. Your best bet is to subscribe anyway - Best £20 i have spent on my Zed. There shoud be an option to post pics at the bottom when you either post a thread or a reply. (manage attatchments) Alternativly you can use a site like photo bucket. Well done on your purchase - looking froward to seeing the pics Oh and to subscribe i think there is a sticky thread somewhere about subscribing.
  16. There was a thread on here not too long ago showing some research and news stories or magazine articles, that some tyres had been sitting on the shelves for 5 or 10 years and then being sold as new as they had never been used. There was a bit about how you can check when the tyre was manufactured, as its was the last 2 numbers in one of the codes on the tyres. It might have been Jeff who posted it, but maybe that might account for the shocking state of that tyre after such a small amount of use. Lucky you got home safe to be honest.
  17. Looks lovely..... and the scenery aint too bad either:innocent:
  18. I gotta say that i dont like at all... I think all the bride stuff looks rank. I know that it is great quality and well expensive etc, but i just don't like it. Same with Jaffas mats he's selling, clearly good quality, but just not to my taste however the Bride seats on the other link are nicer - but he wants £800!! just my 2 pennies worth.
  19. just noticed the wing mirrors, nice
