Hi, I commented on a thread re: not seeing a price on an advert. Gaz rightly pointed me to the top of the page and I could see the price. Now, however, the box at the top of a thread in the for sale section is not there any more. Not just in that particular thread, but all threads. Have I done something or is this a forum bug? off the clocks on an undisclosed "privately owned" straight bit of road... apart from that going to southend seafront to show all the chavs what a proper car looks like just for shits and giggles but ending up being begged to be in the "fuel" show where they had shut off the seafront for car displays and being proud when i was escorted through the crowds by police with blues and twos on then having the biggest crowds round both my current (at the time) and ex Zed even though there were skylines supras and nsx's everywhere... then having a friendly bit of schoolboy pathetic (but so much fun mwahahaha) racing (again on a private track) aforementioned nsx's on the way home and showing them who's boss in a straight line but then promptly getting pissed on in the bends! nice cars them nsx's... trying to teach my bud who id sold my first one to how to drift and laughing my ass off as he repeatedly lost it over and over and over again, only to perfectly drift round him in his zed over and over and over again then both of us having to leg it after seeing blue lights appearing over the horizon (prolly was nothing to do with us but we werent taking any chances and man was we shifting) going to santa pod and kicking ass there losing it on a mini roundabout at approx. 2mph in the ice and feeling completely stupid whilst a yummy mummy in her 4x4 gave me the coffee beans but maddest thing? selling not one but two zeds... COMPLETELY FU**ING INSANE!!!! of course all of the above is complete *****cks and is entirely made up. officer.

bloody ell! there she is alright! she looks well fit! shame about the "modifications" though... that woman hanging off it must kill the aerodynamics at 170 mph cheers mate, was brilliant to see it again, now if i could only find him and make him an offer, i want it back! ; ) (minus the bird, don't think the missus would like that very much)

looks like we're both looking for her! lol I was the one who bought it from you mate, was a long trip to amazing-stoke lol yeah i fitted the wheels, but it's had 2 owners since me who have fitted leather and all sorts to it ive tried bikes and all sorts but am hankering after another zed as well, nothing else quite seems to give you that feeling driving it... FOR ALL THOSE THINKING OF SELLING..... DON'T!!!! lol

MAC's Zed was something else entirely...

after owning both mate the manual was so much more fun, the auto was fine most of the time although it did tend to shift up or down right when i didnt want it to but the rush you get from a full boost kickdown was addictive, and a lot easier to live with in stop start traffic! manuals sound a lot better too, the auto's tend to drone... i bought my auto because it was the only bayside blue one to come up for long time and that was the colour i wanted for my next TT after owning a red manual and selling it to a mate then regretting it straight away! Never got round to the conversion before a little one was on the way and i had to get some money together to fund a few home improvements... bye bye zed. Personally if i was going to buy another, and im thinking of doing it for next spring, i would 100 percent take the time to find a manual, or budget for a manual conversion if a completed auto project came up. Best thing is to try both out for yourself if you can, it's all down to personal preference. Performance differences are all relative anyway, as by now all engines will be giving out different power outputs from standard anyway, be that more or less regardless of transmission

yeah hope everyone is doing ok ; ) after selling my TT i went and got my bike license, a ninja and a diesel mondeo for the boring stuff, im now hankering for another Zed hit! cant put a pic up for some reason, i guess as my sub run out i cant post pics anymore oh well just been looking around the for sale section... can't believe the prices they are going for at the moment... bloody fuel prices... its hard to be able to afford any fun anymore eh!

Hey now boys don't get all offended ;) I'm just saying we walked past all the other car stands (Skylines Supras MR2's you name it) and they were all beautifully presented. We were looking forward to seeing some great examples (like the ones last year and the two in the meguirs comp.) and we were dissapointed that's all. I agree, any Zed is better than no Zed, and well done for owning one, but we saw one with god knows what on the drivers window, lookied like a giant albatross turd lol and as I say different colour body panels and splitters etc. I just think if you are going to put your car on show then do. I personally wouldn't be happy putting my car on show unless I was happy with it! But you are right of course, if you are treating it as a just a place to meet up with your club then it's all good, turn up in anything. :) Not knocking your cars boys, just my opinion that last year we had some Zeds of a really high standard there, and I was looking forward to seeing them again. I don't really know what happened on the strip... on the whole they were very slow :( Here's to the Jap show finale later this year, I look forward to seeing some minters there :D

I gotta say there were some ropey Zeds there... We were gutted by the quality of them on the Zed club area... dents, rust, different colour body panels... it was shocking! Of course there were some nice ones in the 300zx.co.uk area ;) Also some of the times were shocking, I can only hope they were mostly N/A's, nearly all of them had trouble getting in the 14's and even 15's... actually thinking about it your NA is bloody fast so they must have been slow TT's... :( Where is MAC and the big hitters when you need them lol

I think the film is a complete no-brainer full of tits, asses (and thats just the male actors...) and ricer cars, but I bet no-one would say no to a lot of the motors on there. Sure the story is shite but what do you want from a film like this? Me? I'll watch the ****ing films with a few beers and me mates and proud of it :tongue: Well spotted mate, I'll keep me eye out for them next time I watch it! Chavved up Honda Civic or more often my Xantia TD.Except th bloody thing has just blown a head gasket so it is doing approx. 0mpg at the moment... Damn I miss my Zeds... :mad:

*shakes head* One of the many reasons for selling my last Zed and not getting another one was all this shit... sorry but it's gone from bad to worse... it's like a playground round here now! I've given up on performance cars in general, moved on. Have fun with all this handbags at ten paces stuff! Not for me :( (and some others who have posted in this thread)

Holy shit, I remember you from the days when I first wanted a Zed... you were one of the reasons I got one!!! I think you'll find with those mods you listed you are looking at more bhp for sure. Something in the region of 650 - 700 at least. Make sure you crank the boost up to 22 psi though, I read somewhere the standard turbos can handle 30 psi!!!! :D (Make sure you fit neons though, otherwise it won't boost properly)

I've not seen it... :confused: Maybe I'm too innocent to notice it lol
