can someone please tell me how to top up my gearbox oil? thanks

found my tps connector(rhs throttle body) i think, cleaned it up and still the same, sometimes its fine but when it does surge it kicks down into 3rd and wont go back up untill next day then its fine again!! strange i know.. lol. any ideas? thanks

hi all, after fixing my gear problem i was presented with 2 new ones today, when approaching work the revs were surging themselves giving me erratic kangaroo driving, only lasted around 5 mins then cleared? tps sensor or icv?... secondly on arriving home from work, when i got out car i noticed a water leak, appears to be coming from the bottom of the neck of the coolant plastic filler pipe?this pipe with the yellow cap appears to move/rotate slightly, only lost around 1 cupfull of rusty looking water..then it stopped? any ideas.. many thanks

i aint gettin fourth mate, is it some kinda limp mode? or a dodgy sensor ill disconnect battery tommorow for 15 mins to clear ecu then check for any codes? wheres the diag socket and is it the jumper type with a paper clip? thanks

sorry meant to say that with o/d onn and o/d off its atill 3 gears and the same revs at 120kmph revs 4000rpm.. could it be one of the switches? thanks

hi all, only just got the car today and all was well, ran my son home tonight and i think it seems to be stuck with only 3 gears? overdrive is switched off power button is off(middle position) sitting at 120kmph im at 4000 rpm feels like it needs another gear i have jap clocks all in kmph up to 180 even at that speed theres no difference when i put o/d on and off ive had v8 autos before and v6 autos and they all changed revs when i swithced between these modes? or maybe im just being paranoid lol all the lights for the above buttons all work when switches pushed what is the little orange stick thingy on the gear knob? i think its stuck in 3 gear mode? all advice greatly appreciated

hi all, ive read quite a few posts on this but im still unsure, first of all ive got the jap clocks at 180kmph but i'd like it to display mph? do i need a conversion box or can i just buy a sticker to go over the top reading in mph? surely theres a easy way apart from wires and soldering kits lol... thanks

hi all, just bought my first 300zx, import on a h reg in silver,seems to run ok.pity it reads in kmph though.im used to mr2's, anyway hi..
