  1. try this link there might be something on ther to here up mate http://www.twinturbo.net/ttnetsearch/search.aspx?forum=general
  2. i was told that it is better to drive the car as you get oil pressure up etc but take it steady till it's fully warmed up
  3. as Stu said hes out of the car sp leave it and deal with the casualty. Even with there SEATBELTS that they have in those types of cars and roll frames and P.P.E after a smack like that then C-spine is a second priority after air-ways, he should of been held down not dragged up to his feet like he was and left to stumble about.
  4. yeah it has been shown i a film where a car goes on fire and there trapped in side by there seat belt, but as you say it was a film.. In a real crash if the person is still conscious and able to make escape then they will be able to undo there selt belt to gain release, i have never been unable to open a seat belt buckel at an RTC yet. And as our station medic so to speak i'm usually the first one in to the car to do this.
  5. yeah i know not trying to argue sorry if it came over like that but i've been to many a smack where the rear passenger has cause'd injury if not fatel due to the lack of a seat belt and many more where the front people wern't wearing them. where a seat belt would of saved a live if you weigh 13.5 st at 30 mph you weigh 3tons if you hit a wall head on or more if it's a car moving towards you, just food for thought next time someone is sat behind you eh ???/
  6. Mmmmm ok so when some sat in the back of your car hits you from behind weighting in at 3.5 tons crushing you between your seat belt and them then wot. would you want to tell them to belt up or not ????
  7. On the radio today there on about young people not wearing seat belts while out in there cars and more so the ones in the back of a car. Some of the comemnts were I'm not going far. Or , wearing it will mess me clothes up ffs so what do they think a head on at 30mph will do i personally will not move if someone in the car has not got there belt on even more so if there sat behind me. Just wondering what your views were.

  10. whats up with it mate
  11. Great news Daz, hat off to you for doing it
  12. as said above mate. it's not too hard to do just take your time and dont fully tighten the bolts at first when you put it the new glass tight but so they have a little movement so if it's not lined up it won't break the window. I had to do my driver's side two weeks after I got my car because some jealous tw4t tried to steel it and broke the window. but have a super siren in side about 140db screamer and it hurts your ear's abit lol.
