You can do passenger side but to do drivers side would mean making a special tool to reach the nuts and even then would be extremely difficult.

If in doubt don't do, I don't think the performance gains are noticeable!

However my turbo's went after but I genuinely can't put that down to the cats.

I had a custom exhaust done a while back and had considered decat but was concerned about back pressure and damage to the turbo's however I found my cat's were fooked and brittle little bits of burnt platinum so left them be.

If they are free then how can you go wrong?

Have you got real proof of their insurance? Fingers crossed everything works out for you. The alarm probably has anti-hijack, shunt and doors lock, unfortunately a common trend with criminals, they cause a minor shunt, open your door, steal your handbag...

Decats will increase performance but I doubt you would notice, so I would reckon sports cats are a waste money because they will not allow the same performance gains as decats!

I believe the only issues with induction kits are cold starting but I myself have not had a problem.

Have you got any witnesses? I would be suprised if they have valid business insurance. Hope it all goes your way... Further thought, they may even offer to get repairs done, DO NOT accept, they would get a friend to do it in their own garage!

It looks clean but it's an auto, I personally would steer clear of Japanese spec auto's on a Z. (Got no gearbox cooler)
