  8. ok if u look at some pics on me removing the upper cover u will see some steal rods with rounded ends there sprung protruding from the outer wall rods sit and slide on cut groves on the shaft http://www.japnortheast.co.uk/forum/index.php?/topic/40304-gearbox-rebuild/ but i dont think thats your problem probably lower rubbers on gearstick or the ball joint is caked in crap try taking a look at that first mite need washing and regressing.
  9. I want a removable one to need it for spare tiers and tools for drifting.
  10. you will have to open up the gear box to see wether anything has was damaged im rebuilding a manual N/A with 50 some thing mils on it iv have bin told that the sincros are soft on the very early models and pre 1994 selector forks are prone to snapping of when your Z32 is running close to 600-bhp and dumping the clutch at hi revs 1st and 2nd gears can be damage with input shaft bearing failure and 3rd and 4th snap teeth on gears you could get billet selector forks and and strait cut gears but beware the strait cuts wine like a bitch the gear box im rebuilding all bearings are being replaced and all gears and selector forks and getting sent for cryogenic treatment but thats another story.
  11. this is the first time it has happened to but just had a look and the nose panel and it looks like the water was seeping throw the bottom of past the rubber strip so i loosened the bolts pressed it down to put more pressure on the rubber and bolted it back up.
