  2. Yes the ball joints have to come out,like in my thread grind em' flush and knock em' through.
  3. :thumbup1:-keep at it mate,your getting there!
  4. Pretty sure that fuse should be like that,i.e thick wire loop-usally blue wire it's a fusible link.
  5. It bolts from under the car,but are a pita!-you could leave it on no harm,get it off on a ramp,so much easier!
  6. :tooth::winkiss:
  7. As long as I don't get slated! LOL!:ninja:
  8. LOL!-tapped out?-look at the first thread mate,grind em' and plenty of hammer!-they will be tight.So yes they come out and replaced with the poly ones.

  10. Sure Jeff sells a Puck clutch-can't remember the power handling tho'!
  11. Also the pipe in this pic shows how I bypassed the hicas pipes. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v496/mantav8/The%20new%20ZX/P1150022.jpg You can then pull out the Solenoid on the inner wing and all the pipes under the car (if you want)!
  12. This is a different set-up to the D/W kit but gives an idea how to fit, http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=146299 HTH.
  13. Trust me Dave-you can have too much of it! LOL!:cool3:
  14. Exactly why I did these mate!-you can always uprate the upper link bushes but I don't trust the adjustable jobbies,the good ones are way too expensive! As for the link mate,post away!:wink:
  15. Pretty useless any how they can't 'hear' above 2500-3000 rpm!-when does boost come in again?:wacko:

  18. Exactly why Mr Nissan is smart!:wink:
  19. Carrying on from this thread.http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=148873 I had an idea to make the brackets that the upper arms attach to adjustable instead.So thanks to Ian (Vods) I have 'modified' 2 oe brackets with slots and a shit load of bracing/welding,hopefully to be up to the job!:detective: There not pretty but the theory is sound (I Think!) I got hold of 4 motorbike chain 'snail' cams to use A. for adjustment and B.for a mechanical hold of the bolt so it doesn't solely rely on the 'pinch' to stay put! With bolts and cams fitted, This shows the adjustment range,bottom is least (stock) top is positive,should be plenty! Just waiting on a couple of new bolts now,the originals are too short to get a full nut,lets hope I can get the o/s wheel straight with these fitted!:hammer:
  20. Totally agree!-too much labouring and the bores glaze.
  21. Personally wouldn't bother with the tanks mate!-most peeps just tee off the brake vac line through a check valve and into the booster.
