Right, I'd still drop test the battery to see if that's your problem or a bad connection. ;) -Battery dead-charging circuit fault.Battery good-main feed or earth contact and owt' in between!

When you say the battery is dead, how did you check it?

That's the oil level hole,so up to that level is fine.Capacity and grade is in the online manual mate.

Also check/clean the tps connectors-2 on an auto,mine did all sorts of funny things!-connectors were green!! ;)
