Normal panel is great Bud, did`nt expect it to be illuminated ;-)

I`ve just found out why it cracked!!! There are 4 small screws that are hidden ,covered with a plastic blob, they are located at the 2 top corners and one above the start of the X and 1 at the middle of the 3, all along the top of the panel, hope that makes sense? if you look carefully you can see them, they will pull out with pliars before using the hairdryer.

I hope its Illuminated??? How much do ya want for it mate? I live up North (Southport) so would need to be posted, Is it good condition?? Thanks bud,

Progress so far, panel apart (cracked) but this one will do as a test!! Using my sharp chisel to scrape the thin paint off the emblem inside, takes ages :headvswal

Illuminated panel ,Ebay item number Item number: 380133436988 (STU`S POST) It can be done, i used a hairdryer, and gently went round the entire edge of the panel, easing them apart using a flat scrapper, it it dosent come undone, its not ready. Have a look at my previous thread. I have found a UK supplier, to include an A4 size of el sheet, which has to be cut down, a 12v convertor. Hi 8ace, I asked a question on a thread a few nights ago, and a few of the lads are doing one at the mo! I will dig it out and post it in a few mins, also i have ordered from Usa the panel to illuminate it, only about £25 delivered!! will post all in a few mins, my internet is really slow tonight. Hi Guy`s , Just before i smash my rear centre panel into lots of bits :-(, does anyone know if it comes apart so i can get in between the back and the face of it. I am trying to see if i can illuminate the 300zx bit :-), Or if you think i`m being stupid, has any one got an illuminated on for sale??? Thanks again Darren.

Thanks Lads for your comments, I`ve got some Big brembos getting fitted in 2 weeks with some red stuff so should be fine with them on . Took it round `Ty Croes` in Anglesey last year and was fantastic, so fancy somethin a bit more challenging. The compression test is for my z31 aswell, I fired her up last weekend after 8 months in storage and a bit of smoke came out, so i wanna see if she`s ok. Drive safely , Darren. ;)
