  1. Very rare!!! they never come up but over the last week 3 have been up for sale!!! one for £500 (bit much),been looking for ages for this one, boxed ect, deffo going to build it but use it as an orniment rather than a toy, hence not bothered about the radio, but somewhere i have the gear from my Tamiya Hotshot from the 80`s!
  2. How weird !! as i have just bought this today!!! And yes i know I`m mad!!!! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300425231318&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT
  3. Thanks Bazza, and yes your right!! the best combo!!! But to answer your question further isyss, the doner cars are a great investment in not only spare parts but also (if you are interested) a good car to practice on!! I have learnt soooo much when stripping the car down and knowing what make`s it tick!! When you go to a garage and have a look underneath your car it just looks so complicated(and is) but when you delve a little deeper it all makes sense and i am not frighened anymore of major jobs, they are still a bugger to work on but when you have had the experience in dismantling one it make`s it much easier to fault find. I`ve had my TT for over 7 years now and have always been impressed by it, so when i found a Z31 that had been dry stored in a barn for 10 years i had no hesitation to buy it, my vert is relativley new to me and by far my favorite, I only bought it as it was fairly cheap right in the middle of reccession and without doubt the BEST car i have ever owned, so thats why some of us have multi zeds!! Sometimes a pain in the ass, as i am forever trying to keep my nan happy as one is in her garage and also paying the lock up fees to house the others, but in the end i think it will be worth it, i hope.

  13. Hi Bud, to remove the torx screw`s you need a T50 size head, heres some snaps, hope they help
  14. I`m just taking some pics of tools/ ect, give me 5 mins and i will post them up Si
  15. Hi Bud, I`ve just done mine, Its quite simple, but you need a specialist tool, Firstly remove the leads from the battery! that stops the bag blowing if anything short circuits, there are 2 small plastic covers either side of the steering wheel, remove them with a screwdriver, under those covers there are 2 torx screws, iirc they are about 8mm but i will check for you, remove the 2 screws, this then releases the airbag unit and it simply pulls out from the steering wheel! unclip all the wires and block connectors, then you need to undo the nut that holds the steering wheel in place, about 30mm but i will check again for you, the steering wheel should then pull off, I`ve probably missed something but its quite easy with the right tools Daz

  19. lol, I`ve had too much sun:blink:, I meant a wolf in sheeps clothing doh!, I think i will go back to the beginning and start again!! ............... Lovely car Mick! , it look`s the dogs danglies!!!!!It doesnt look fake and the badges are all present and in the correct position :thumbup1:
  20. I was thinking fake was a bit harsh, coudnt think of another word, maybee `look-a-like`, and it was imo so no need to be nasty! when he said `let the slating begin` i thought that was a cryptic clue? :tt2:
  21. No mate my uncle used to have one, i`ve driven it many times but his badges were more central of the car i.e either side of the bmw badge? maybe his was fake  went like shit of a shovel though. the suspension on his was a lot lower to the ground too, but thats the idea with them cars a sheep in wolfs clothing!!!
  22. The badges are normally nearer the centre of the car, well they were on my uncles:biggrin:
  23. Very nice bud, I saw one yesterday in white, I must say though your looks a little fake? the badges seem in the wrong position, suspension is a little high and the rear diffuser looks wrong ,IMO though? I`m probably wrong, but looks lovely
