My undestanding of Hicas is that it does different things at different speeds. I read that it wont actually do anything till 30mph ish when it will give opposite steer to help go round corners. An unusual feeling if not used to it and it does feel like u r sliding but a nice touch I thought. No good if u have lots of power though...

friend has 1 and tomtom5 seems to work well on it, Have a 6600 and am about to try it to see if it works (aparently if it does it will work on SPV) Am ferked if I will pay 299 euros for sat nav so thought I would try 'This' route. Anyone else had a go? If it works will get me a card reader/writer. Will provide backups purely for testing of course cheapest on E bay 27 + delivery!! Do like th eSPV c500 Though...same shape as me Volvo.... :rofl:

Had a similar prob on an old BMW...the contacts for each speed and intermitent are different. They corroded away and it did its own thing..new (second hand) motor cost me near on £40!!
