  1. I am. And funnily enough moved job to Hook about 2 years ago :)
  2. That would be a blast actually... So I did! And thanks :)
  3. It's been a dry few years car-wise, and about to emerge from exorbitant childcare arrangements I do feel the need to inject some petrol fun back into my life! But... while I'll never say never there are a few other cars to cross off my bucket list first! Plus if I'm honest, I think the missus would strangle me with my own balls if I bought another LOL.
  4. Can't see when I last logged in, but must be the best part of 10 years ago... so many thanks to the Admin for not deleting me!!! And which is also why I thought I might as well post in the newbies section... I quite often think back to the times I had my old, slightly ropy if I'm honest, Zed- with fond memories! And naturally this forum was very much part of it all  :slap: So- don't mind me, I'm just having a rummage around for old times sake! Good to see some old names are still around- fair play to you for keeping these great machines going. I don't see many round here any more, but if I do I'll try to remember to give you a flash and a wave! Till next time... hopefully less than 10 years... Mark
  5. First Zed I've seen in bloody ages! I couldn't go by without flashing my lights and giving a thumbs up! Driver grinned and returned the thumbs up  Busy weekend, so the details I spotted are limited to that fact it was a Zed, it was black, and I think it had a vented nose panel. For the record I was in the missus's Rav4. Mark
  6. Hi mate, Good thanks, I'll expand further by email! :) Haven't made the Reading meet for ages now :( Mark
  7. [resurrect thread] Hi Matt! Didn't see this at the time as I got married and moved house- kind of turned life upside down! :duffer:  :smash: :wack: In a good way, but boy, has life been busy. Plus work has been shite too. :headvswal Sorry if you tried to get in touch- I have a habit of leaving my phone unattended on my desk at work, and while we were moving etc there were 1001 people trying to get hold of me at any one point in time. Plus, home email got lost in the house move, and I'm still trying to get my new Sky one sorted out. I've actually left the band I was in- re-prioritised my life and the band came last. Shame, as when it worked it was really enjoyable. But we just weren't gigging enough to make it worthwhile, and personalities were beginning to clash. Hope you found a good band in the end. For info I do know a couple of other good bands :) Mark
  8. Hey chaps. :) Steve- good thanks, if busy! Trying to find the balance between the chores and the fun. Got back from a slightly mental 5 days mountain biking in Scotland. For once I didn't injure myself, which was nice. Work sucks, keep trying to find an exit point but get drawn into the work I don't actually like! All in the name of trying to do a good job... Looking forward to the wedding, more to the honeymoon, and moving into a bigger house. In fact I just need a new job and that's my whole life turned a corner! Yep Jay's alive and well. In fact better than that- he got engaged to Gayle at Christmas  Think they're planning to get hitched in '08. I'll send on your regards :D Greg- cheers matey. Hope you're well too.
  9. Yep- got my bike out here in sunny Farnborough  :)
  10. Yep thanks- they're good but extremely busy right now! I never intended to stay away from the Reading meets this long, but Tuesday nights are difficult for me to make anyway :( I still hope to pop along every now and then. You still got the MR2? :smash:
  11. Evenin' all. Still Zedless but just a quick post to say I'm back in the land of Japs. A '92 Honda Civic ESi auto LOL  :nelson:  Not quite in the same league as a Zed but at least I'm working my way back up! Getting married and moving house this summer, so after that the finances settle down. By that I mean get spent by my missus LOL  Hope all is well with you lot, I still have a quick browse now and then to see what shinannigans you're up to. LaterZ, Mark
  12. Keep it and just use a push-bike more :)
  13. Erm... Possibly! Can't say for sure, I was dozing away in the passenger seat when my girlfriend said "Look look! A Zed!" so I didn't take it all in... You're not wrong- Last activity 03/08/05! Not much chance of a response on here then  Well it looks and sounds like it's going fine mate :)
  14. Heading East, around the Newbury turn-off. Only saw it when it had gone by, so only got a rear view- looked stock apart from oval tailpipes. Sounded nice :)
  15. Just seen the aforementioned video! It's not got any edge so I don't think it impinges on the original, and the video makes pleasant viewing so I say yes, they can do that! :) What does everyone else think... permittable or sacrilidge? Mark
