  1. Get Jeff @ Zedworld to put in a JWT chip (approx 70bhp) i thought it made a huge diff to mine but guess it different on diff setups
  2. probably spent in the region of 10-15K on it over the years, i bought her with 122K so only done 14K in the past 5yrs or so! Think £4.5K is realistic?
  3. Guys, had her for about 6yrs now, like most of us spent an absolute fortune but i may now have to sell and get something a bit more economical as could be driving quite a bit more. Can you guys give me an idea as to what she could be worth based on below? 4. just renewed fellas
  5. Hi Jeff, tried to get you at work today but think you were quite busy. Im looking at picking up a set of gold brembos (front/rear) from an R34. I might buy a set of bigger 324mm EBC discs and red stuff pads to match for the front....but leave the rears in as you advised. How much would you charge to do this and also that bush work we talked about....is it doable on a Sat if i waited and got there early? PMM me if its easier i know your busy. Cheers Dan
  6. i think the discs are very similar in size on the rear as well arent they...somin like 5mm difference...reckon i could get away with keeping my existing EBC discs/pads on rear then?
  7. I might be able to get a set of R34 front and rear discs/calipers....would the rears be compatible as well...straight fit?
  8. Thanks Jeff...i take it my existing braided hoses will be fine as well?
  9. This also happended to me...twice! a couple of years back...hit about 130 on an A road before it finally released properly after stamping the sh@t out of the pedal!
  10. Thanks Jeff, do you need anything else to get the setup working at all or are they a direct replacement? Have you tried yellow stuff pads...they ok for road?
  11. Guys, I was thinking of getting either some R33 or R34 calipers and then get some discs and pads from EBC (links below) I actually have EBC/Red stuff all round at the mo (standard size discs), but with stock calipers. If i went to 324mm discs on the front, but kept the original setup on the rear will this be ok with ABS, only ive heard when people go too large on the front it screws it all up? I see now EBC are selling red stuff as standard and yellow stuff as an upgrade...isnt yellow stuff only for track use though, thought they took too long to warm up? Actually one of the links doesnt work properly, click "search again" and you can generate spec/prices http://www.ebcbrakesdirect.com/car/parts_disc.asp?part=disc&make=NISSAN&model=Skyline&year=GT+R33+2.6+Twin+Turbo+(95-97) http://www.ebcbrakesdirect.com/car/parts_pad.asp?part=pad&make=NISSAN&model=Skyline+GTR+33&year=Skyline+GTR+33+(95-97)# Cheers Dan
  12. cheers Guys im off to Zedworld in a week or so, so we'll see what happens. Santa > yeah im close to brentwood...you talking about MJP?
  13. My rides section lists the work/mods done
  14. Guys, had the car now for 4yrs and to be honest spent a fair amount on her so looking to keep long term. Only thing is shes now done 133K and im wondering how long that engine will keep going for (turbs already change about 5k ago tho). Also the cambelt has only done about 11k, but is now about 4yrs old. 1) Does anyone know roughly how much it costs to replace and how often this should be done? 2) Ive got simple mods really, zorst, air intake, rps flywheel, new stock turbs, rps street clutch. I was toying with the idea of having her boosted slightly and the engine rebuilt...anyone got a rough idea of how much that would cost. i wasnt going for huge power just to what the standard turbs and mods ive done can handle. Cheers Dan
  15. Guys found a pic of mine when i had the bodywork done yrs back. Is that dim dip relay thing in that picture??
  16. Thanks guys any additional info u might have or anyone else would be cool and as im gonna take it all down the garage in the morning and see what can be done.
  17. i am soo confused now, been reading loads of posts and got the idea that Jap ones didnt have it! Ok thanks mate, i'll let them know anyway. Does anyone know about the HID bit, stopping them turning off when you flash?
  18. Hi Andy, im referring to this http://www.300zx.co.uk/cgi-bin/manual.cgi?list=el&dir=&config=&refresh=&direction=forward&scale=0&cycle=off&slide=110&design=default&total=133 See the dip dim box...apparently there is another relay installed in there
  19. Guys, Got real issues with the headlights at the mo, looks like its gone into some safety mode and only the square lights come on very dimly. I have an electrician working on it at the mo and he wants to find the dip dim relay box, which ive just found out is in the passenger wing (mine is UK 1991). 1) Does anyone know how hard this is to get to and does it involve taking the wing off? 2) Once all the wiring is sorted, im having them install an HID kit, but ive read that this dip dim relay thing should be disabled to stop the HID's cutting out when you switch to full beam or flash someone. Does anyone have a link/guide on what needs to be done there? Cheers Dan
  20. cheers mate, i have a UK model, will the wiring diagrams on there be different?
  21. Guys, Ive big electrical probs with my lights at the mo and have an electrician trying to get this sorted but we need a wiring diagram. Does anyone have one ?? Ta Dan
  22. think Sat morning might be easier as i dont get back home until about 6-6:30 so wouldnt be much light left by the time i got there. If you are happy with that drop me your address (& postcode for the tomtom ;) and a contact number in case i get really lost and i'll shoot over for whatever time is convenient for you. cheers
  23. I can actually do either this Sat or Sun whichever would be easier as i can shift the work from one day to the other ive just found out, if that helps
