  1. And we all lived happily ever after :) Believe me, the first time you get to show your car on the club stand makes the £20 well worth it. Plus the continual abuse I get from fellow members is always good for a laugh :D
  2. Uh-oh, here we go again. Anyway, I like black best, but I am partial to Gunmetal Grey and Bayside Blue too. It's just my opinion, but I'm not very keen on red for a Z - which is strange 'cos I think red is a great colour for most sports cars!
  3. I'm choosing not to watch the vid, 'cos I know how bad the fur trade can get already. Besides, I've just had me dinner too :)
  4. Go to a decent shop and get measured - but bear in mind that sizes do vary from shop to shop. Oh, and a made to measure suit for £89 :nono:
  5. Or, how about a nice tin of...
  6. Precisely. I've heard the boy can drive too!
  7. Many happy returnZ buddy :D :duffer:
  8. Hehe! That went better than expected :D Now then, I wonder how long it'll take Chunk to post an alternative....
  9. 5ft 11ins, last time I checked.
  10. Sweet! From what I can gather, it's not that rare in the states - http://www.300zxclub.com have a section of their forum dedicated to LS1 conversions.
  11. The man is a legend, for more than one reason.
  12. Many happy returnZZZZZ dude :D:D
  13. I say keep it running. I'm of the opinion that ANY car was designed to be used regularly, and not driving it for 4-6 months ain't gonna do it no favours. I'm no expert though, it's just my opinion.
  14. 'Tis a beauty, for sure :)
  15. Mmm, nice. Not usually keen on Meccano spoilers, but I 'spose it suits in this case :)
  16. Erm.... ...yep, I got one :D
  17.
  18. He don't scare me :D Anyway, he plays football now doesn't he?
  19. Jeez, this thunder is getting worse, the house is really rocking now!!
  20. We are having a wicked thunder storm at the moment (fingers crossed that the power doesn't go off :x: ), and the sky out of my office window is as black as night, but out the back it looks beautiful - waddyafink?
  21. KEEP IT BLACK!! I just wanted to be different. I'll get me coat...
  22. Jeez Dave, I felt ill reading that :(, I'm really glad you're family are all still with us and on the mend, and I hope that everyone else involved turns out ok too. We all know that these things do happen, but we all pray that they don't happen to us - so I really feel for you right now. I hate to be the one to preach but, let this be a lesson to us all.
  23. Nicked this from 3ZC in the states (http://www.300zxclub.com), made me chuckle: - How many forum members does it take to change a light bulb? 1 to change the light bulb and to post that the light bulb has been changed. 14 to share similar experiences of changing light bulbs, and how the light bulb could have been changed differently. 7 to caution about the dangers of changing light bulbs. 1 to move it to the Lighting section. 2 to argue about it a while, then move it to the Electrical section. 7 to point out spelling/grammar errors in posts about changing light bulbs. 5 to flame the spell checkers. 3 to correct spelling/grammar flames. 6 to argue over whether it’s “lightbulb” or “light bulb” … another 6 to condemn the first 6 as stupid. 2 industry professionals to inform the group that the proper term is “lamp”. 15 know-it-alls who claim they were in the industry, and that “light bulb” is perfectly and politically correct. 19 to post that this group is not about light bulbs and to please take this discussion to a lightbulb group. 11 to defend the posting to this forum saying that we all use light bulbs and therefore the posts are relevant to this forum. 36 to debate which method of changing light bulbs is superior, where to buy the best light bulbs, what brand of light bulbs work best for this technique and what brands are faulty. 7 to post URL’s where one can see examples of different kinds and brands of light bulbs. 4 to post that the URL’s were posted incorrectly and then post the corrected URL’s. 3 to post about links they found from the URL’s that are relevant to this group which makes light bulbs relevant to this group. 5 people to hotlink to pictures of lightbulbs hosted on geocities. 6 people to complain about dead images. 3 people to tell them to right click the image and copy the URL into another window. 13 to read all posts to date, quote them in their entirety including all headers, images and signatures, and add “I agree”. 5 to post to the group that they will no longer post because they cannot handle the light bulb controversy. 4 to say “didn’t we go through this already a short time ago?” 13 to say “do a search on light bulbs before posting questions about light bulbs”. 1 forum lurker to respond to the original post 6 months from now and start it all over again Sadly, very true :D
  24. I've seen this beauty twice now on my travels along the M25. It's a silver SWB, parked in a fenced in car park along side the M25 (clockwise) directly before the M4 junction (J15 I think). Aftermarket bodykit and spoiler fitted - looks sweet - anyone here???
