Easy DIY job mate, I prefer carbon fibre though, this is mine (with stainless speedo rings from Danny too :) :- Mine is a genuine carbon dash (not a stick-on carbon fibre 'style' dash) and it didn't line up perfectly around the indicator light, but you can't tell when driving. I have a self adhesive cf dash trim for sale, but it is for a later series Z (with extra warning lights top left/middle/right) - if you're interested ;).

Right, I'm consider restoring my Z to stock in an effort to: - A) save money on mods thus enabling me to keep the damn thing running B) preserve a good image of the original 300ZX, classic like ;) What are your thoughts? Are 'genuine Nissan' parts acceptable, or should I keep faithful to the original year manufacture spec (i.e orange side indicators etc.) And what about 'hidden' mods (basic engine stuff - decat, earthing, boost controller etc.) Please vote.......

Financial reasons matey - NOTHING comes close :nono: Stanton garage mate - Bruce, the guy who does the MOT's, is a regular at the Ashby Folville classic meet (he's got a mint old Alfa GTV) and knows a bit about Z's too :)

I'll take his Cali for my Z..... plus about £5k!

Do it mate! My sister-in-law had to do one for a 35 in a 30 - all she had to do was watch a video, listen to a copper waffle for a bit, and she got a keyring too!! :smw: Better than points IMO.
