Any aviation boffins on here?
It flies low over Rugby quite often - you can hear the roar of the twin piston engines way before you can see it!

Anyone been to Gothenburg?
'twas the winter of 1985 that I was last in the city. Too cold outside, too many friendly ladies inside - didn't see much!

white lies much like these lots
they're on my playlist at the mo! editors/maximo park/talking heads/joy division... sounds a bit 80s - matches my employment state!!!

Mind blowing - but Ben won't be dead! The island will resurrect him! How did Sayid end up on the plane? ???

Weeeeellllll, it seems the missus is 'up for eviction' from her job as well now so the Zed acquisition is on hold indefinitely (boohoo!). Shall I ask for a Zed on freecycle? do you think someone's got one to give away? lol! I shall be building a Tamiya or Fujimi 1/24 kit to help pass the time, maybe start an 'imaginary ride' section!!!

LPG anyone?
I have been looking into LPG for a few years and last year bought a Chrysler Voyager 3.0l with a kit already fitted. I did 10k in it and then flogged it again. It felt underpowered and had to be revved hard to go anywhere. The lpg has a lower calorific value and as such gives a smaller bang so you have to put your foot down more. I reckon 80% of the petrol power. I'm currently looking for a NA manual LWB Zed that I plan to convert in the future. My idea is to put a big tank in place of the rear seats and box in so it looks a bit like a factory 2+0. I'm not sure on the control circuitry and extra gubbins but a battery relocation to the boot might give a bit more room. My dream is to tour across Europe in my Zed, visiting the autobahns, alpine passes etc. LPG will help with the fuel costs.

Lost
I've watched every episode from day 1 (although watched S1E4 first and then backtracked) I have a theory as to why Sun, Ben and Locke didn't go back in time with the others!

Thanks must go to Dean for showing me his Zed and taking me for a spin. It's helping me to form a plan and try and decide which one to get... The one I saw next, in Lichfield, was a bit tatty (to say the least!) I think my ideal motor will be a manual NA in a nice dark colour or silver. Not too keen on red or yellow ones. Not sure about white.

Silver widebody, Rugby 19/3
Saw it come round Cemex roundabout and head down towards Newbold. Very quiet, I think it was a TT because I thought I could hear dump valves. Managed to get a pic off at the lights!

Pay-to-scrap scheme
Anyone heard about this? Any ideas how it's going to work? The govt are going to give 2k to anyone who scraps an older car and buys a new or up to 1 year old car. Now this may not immediately appeal to the Z owner BUT it got me thinking. Now is the time to buy an old banger off ebay for about 200 quid taxed and tested for 6 months. Then, scrap it and get the money to help buy a small, cheap, nearly new runaround to save the Z from town runs, shopping trips and the like...

Well, I decided to subscribe! It'll help me find a good 300zx, hopefully!

Red Ferrari replica SWB slicktop in Rugby
I currently live on the 'Pavilions' in Bilton, not far from Lidl! I'd only buy it to restore it back to original! I'm after a TT LWB Auto anyways.

Red Ferrari replica SWB slicktop in Rugby
Dunno if it's a subscribed member, seen this car about a few times. All kitted up with pop up lights and Ferrari replica alloys, Ferrari badges etc. At least I think it's a 300zx, I recognised it from a side view, the shape of the rear hatch lid seemed familiar. I think the rear lights are still 300zx. I'm new at the 300zx thing! It was for sale as well, couldn't see the price.

I'd like to see Dean and Artztogo's motors but my PM facility seems to be disabled. Can you two PM me? Dean's motor is very nice and probably what I'd be after, all depends on me getting rid of my current ride and my redundancy money coming through at the end of April. Also placating my wife and daughter and assuring them that it's a nice reliable car that won't be embarassing!

Want one!
Anybody in the Rugby area got one? I need to convince the missus as well as my daughter (she (my daughter) hates my Delica and she doesn't like my last few cars: E32 BMWs and E38s). Need to see a 'nice' one! Never actually driven one although I was at my local Nissan dealership for the launch! Free wine and cheese!
