  1. Are you sure he just isnt out of Avatar. Seen your car on Friday Rob, looks like you have done a very good job on the panel. Did it take long for you to do
  2. Was looking at doing this myself as well. P & O are offering a day return to Calais for £19 and that included 6 bottles of wine until the end of March. Thinking of booking 2 seperate trips so we can have a few days driving there.
  3. Personally I would go with something more like the following http://www.ebuyer.com/product/242018 Pretty much same spec but a little bit cheaper when you take into account the vat. Its a better name as well. Cant believe how cheap TVs are going for nowadays.
  4. Good luck to you, the other half had a slight crash before christmas in her 207. She was given a 9 year old 1.2 punto with a stereo that wouldnt work.
  5. I went for the lasik. Didnt feel any pain at all throughout the process. It was more of a an odd sensation really. The after surgery care was very good from Ultralase as well with constant check ups. Think it may even be a lifetime guarantee as well with them which as pretty good as your eyes will deteriorate when you get into your 40's regardless
  6. I had mine down 4 years ago and was the best thing I have ever bought ( well except the z obviously). I paid around 3k in total from Ultralase for both eyes. I was suppose to have it done in Chester but there air con wasnt working so they paid for a taxi for me to go to Manchester. The whole process only lasted around 10 minutes and personally I felt no pain at all during the treatment. Definitely take sunglasses with you for when you have it done though as the light is a bit more sensitive on your eyes. The next day I could see perfectly as well. My eyes were -7.0 for my left and -7.5 for my right so pretty dreadful really. Would definitely recommend it if your vision is quite poor.
  7. me three if its possible please. Glad I could help Rob lol There is usually a red one parked a couple of roads down from mine but that has had for sale signs in for quite a while now. Don't think its someone on here though. Will check facebook later and add you when you I get chance mate
  8. Thats mine, think I seen you drive past me a couple of weeks ago. Dont tend to see the Skyline anymore but there is usually a very nice looking 200sx in its place
  9. Welcome Rob, I think you drove past me getting into mine yesterday afternoon. Think there are only of a few of us from Wrexham but quite alot from surrounding areas.
  10. That would be me. Went to the greyhound to do a spot of shopping. Wish i cleaned it now.
  11. Spotted the blue one today in the town centre. So in over a year I have spotted 1 zed around here, since Saturday I have seen 3.
  12. I remember reading about their being a massive clamp down on the street racing. They were never safely organised by all accounts either. Heard a few cars had some pretty brutal accidents. Cheers for the offer, will have to take you up on it next time I am in the area. On a side note, how strange is it when you see another zed, wave to the driver and then tell your other half you are not sure who it is but you know them off the internet. Had a few odd looks off her when we spotted the yellow zed
  13. Was up that way last week actually, don't really get up there that often though. Their used to be quite a big street racing part to deeside, don't know if there still is.
  14. Should now state that I have only ever seen a red zed and now a yellow one too in the Wrexham area.
  15. The red one is usually by the Gresford roundabout. I see it there quite a bit as its only across the road from the in laws. Never seen a blue one though and I almost live on that road.
  16. Only ever seen a red zed in Wrexham apart from my own that is
  17. I don't think many of you would have done the school run this way. School run To take your little brother in a bag to school is a bit extreme really, especially when all you have to slow you down is a wooden fork.
  18. Lorry Drivers Next time you are going down the motorway, try and make sure this doesn't happen to you. I have no idea how she managed to get there in the first place though. Women drivers eh
  19. It all depends how the dog is brought up. If you train it as a pup and ensure that the dog is well disciplined then you will not go far wrong. However if they are trained to be a 'status' dog then you are very likely to result in the dog attacking someone. If this comes into force then I will be paying £200 insurance just in case they bite someone on top of the £30 a month insurance if something goes wrong with them. The one good point is that they are least trying to get every dog micro chipped though.
  20. There has been a fair bit on the news these days regarding dog insurance to cover them if they attack someone or another animal. The reports coming out say that it will be on average around £100 per dog rising to £500 for some higher risk dogs. I myself have 2 jack russell crosses that wouldn't harm a soul. The only danger anybody would have is if they are licked to death. Personally I think this insurance would be a waste of time and money. The people out there who train the dogs to fight would more than likely not pay this insurance in the first place. In other countries the dog is covered by the house insurance which would be a better idea for a start. What are all your views on this
  21. The council did this to a pothole that is right outside my house. Needless to say it didnt last very long, it did however proceed to go all over my car though. Its a right bugger to get off as well

Great shout on that, not normally a will ferrell fan but that show is very good. The main character seems to be based loosely on ricky from trailer park boys which again is one of the best comedy series of late. Currently watching Breaking Bad with Hal from Malcolm in the Middle. A good program but the missus wasnt too fussed with it.
  23. With that time of the year starting to approach us again, what high brow celebrity have you got visiting your town to turn the lights on. We are stuck with a man dressed up as fireman sam doing a sketch on telling the truth. Could be worse though, we had blazing squad a few years ago.

When you start the car from cold you will hear a weird noise, kind of noise a moose may make. There is a little kit that you can get to stop it though. Think it had something to do with the air conditioning if i remember correctly. Had the gearbox go on mine so had the clutch replaced at the same time so wouldnt know if that would cause juddering.

I had one of these before I sold it for the z. Nice car to drive and had a massive boot on it too. Was awful for mpg though, was only getting around 28 on a run and 22 combined. Does your car moose when starting from cold
