thanks everyone these old style dump valves are coming off heres a question what would happen if it turns out that the standard recirc valves are still there with the dump valves connected too?

hello everyone has anyone got an idiots guide to fitting a pair of baileys dump valves in my 1995 twin turbo. It would appear i have a pair of what looks like japanese dump valves connected to the 2 big hoses at front of engine i presume they will have to be removed and original hoses put back in place thanks in advance stephen

hi there the car sounds quite awsome an performs like a rocketship i dont know the bhp but it needs NO more. I did want the dump valve whooosh however so am slightly dissapointed yes they are "arc" they look like theyve been on it for a while it has a very cool new looking blitz cone air filter thingy saw same on ebay for 200 odd quid that will be making a noise too do you think its worth while replacing the hoses i may go back to the performance centre guy seemed certain it should be whooshing

no Pete not long bought the car, so are they fitted correctly from what you can see? im surprised the guy at performance centre didnt pick up on this he didnt recognise the make right enough said they were japanese things

im not sure what this all means are the dumps broke or not? should i be getting the whooosh? my cars manual

funny i have exact same wheels as you zx eyes what arethey called guy said bbs but i dont have the bbs badge in the centre

at last iv done it the dump on the left seems to have dodgy hoses on the top i checked the jubilees and they all needed tightenedso iv done that is it at all possible that the dumps are broke hope not stephen

how do i pot pictures? they are japanese things "arc" i believe

the guy from the performance centre says i may have a leak and thats why im not getting the whoooosh am i right in thinking that its an air leak and replacing my hoses will sort this i was thinking of puting silicone air hoses in there are also the thin hoses conecting the dump valves maybe its them thanks stephen

defo comin from targa drain thanks everyone for your help this problem wont get me down for much longer i have to say ths site is rather good hope to meet some of you sometime if there are ever any meets in scotland stephen

iv got water in my footwell its coming from the targa drain hole dont know how this happened or how to fix well i have an idea or 2 but just wondering if anyone has had this problem cheers

thanks guys hopefully that will help but im not sure keep the info coming ill go have another look at the speedo cheers im supposed to conect the yellow wire from the delimiter/converter to the signal wire in the loom the red wire to live and the black wire to the earth the green wire from the converter then goes to the signal input in the speedo head connector the problem is i dont know which wire is signal etc or which connector loom is which

Who knows the wires for: signal, live & Earth for a kph to mph converter?

after pouring water down targa drain hole the water isnt finding its way through to the exit but is wetting the passenger foot well any advise on fixing this? cheers steve
