oh man that sucks! :( Just got new lock barrels 1 week ago.. Theres loads of zeds goin for brakes lately was hoping to get them bits from one of them.

Does anyone here have the piece mention above? Mine is broke and someday i wont be able to open the car.. I read late models have a metal part instead of plastic if anyone as any spares to sell i would be really apreciated. I just need that bit coz i got new locks but them bits didn't come with it :(. thanks chayden advice more then welcome. to be honest with you i just want to sell it and buy a proper one so if i can get the money i already put in it ill be soon looking for a good one coz this one still as loads of original parts that soon will need replace like turbos for example the car as 78k and i believe it never was serviced properly apart from springs and cam belt plus all the rest i done so sell it is safer option so i will fix what i can and end of the story :(

Thanks Legrath that as helped me alot. I will try do most of it myself think i will take a chance and fix it and hope she goes on well after. If it was for me i would fix it all in a garage but the pressure at home is bad (misses) she doesnt fancy the money spent on cars lol..

well murt i have to say you got a good deal.. I got mine 4 weeks ago and only had a proper drive since then. mine was double the price of yours and spending that amount again will make it a 3k car which nobody will give me if ever want to sell. I knew i would have to spend money on her but no this much at a time you know. I would really like an opinion form jeff (zedworld) thanks very much for the posts its nearly making me consider but still not convinced its worth the hassle. i serviced the car,well just the basics not a full 60k service coz i wouldnt know where to start but at list a few things are done already,bumper arrived today,have put it £300 EBC brakes and pads and if i sell the car as it is i wont make the 600 i already put in it plus would feel really guilt for selling it as it is.. anyway ill try my best to try and save the zed..

thats the problem mate i dont have the tools and even if i want to sell it the way it is nobody will touch it. the thing is, is it worth fix it? Im not an expert at all but from the list i can see at list £1500 to fix it or maybe im wrong? I dont know im so fustrated i cant even think straight mate :(

Thanks gruntpa64. I most check that over the weekand but theres far more then just bad sensors and my mechanics knowledge is very limited thats why not to sure what to do coz a specialist will charge me a fortune to fix all this which unfortenly i can't pay :(

Diagnostics Autobox OK Engine :code 34 - det sensor cicuit (sensor or wiring) Car running in safeboost mode Both O2 sensors dead (no response) Hicas Pump - lines dosed and leaking (needs investigation) Coolant sniff test - Clear Coolant sensor (Gauge) - inoperative Coolant sensor (Ecu) - inoperative Coolant - Needs flushed and replaced Thermostat - replace Waterpump - possible replacement needed Coolant leak fron rear of engine - possible Hose (needs investigation) Front Bumper - Wrong type fitted (N/A) Engine oil leak front lower - possible FMS or Sump Engine oil leak Rear - Possible Rear crankseal or Sump Engine oil leak Nearside upper - possible turbo feed (investigate) Exhaust system - Still running original system and Cats (Blocked cats maybe causing possible restriction) Body - Underseal required Suspension - OK How bad is this? is it even worth keeping the car? How much am i looking in parts? Please give me some advice i am so so crossed for buying a car like this!

Well i'll be honest with you, mine was £1400 on e-bay no reserve and now im paying the price.. everyday theres a new problem i even had a N/A bumper in a TT which i only found out here in the site. But to clear my mind tuesday shes going for a full diagnosis and check up so then ill no what i have in my hands (worth keep it or sell it again maybe dismantle) really hope its worth keep her :)

This might sound like a dum question but whats the best way to get coolant on a 300 TT? someone told me its not straight in the radiator, that there is a cap just for coolant and the rad only takes water, is that true? need to get that done pronto but im kinda in doubt now.. Any advice very welcome as usual :bow::bow::bow:

wonder if theres any place in Northern Ireland that really knows how to work around a 300? My mate services all my cars and he is good but he doesn't have a garage so when it comes to big jobs he cant do it so would be nice to know if theres a man i can trust my car with around here :)
