hi yes i took the filters off yesterday to clean them

the bloke i brought it off said it was running alright with the dump valve and then it started to play up

when i pull the wire off the maf senor and the engine cuts out does that mean its ok

is there any chance that you could come and have look at it? dunk300zxtt

no he just said it was running 380bhp and he never said anything about that but after 2000rpm and all the way up to 6000rpm it rev ok but as soon as it drops back down it starts to play up again

how do i know if its running uprated boost the bloke i brought it off said it was running around 380bhp but not sure if he was telling the truth or not

nah been a bit busy 2day im going to spend allday onit how do i know if its gone

do u happen to the spark plug code

hi just had a look at it and reved it up 2 bout 6000rpm and it sounds like its missfireing as tho its a few spark plugs gone and when the revs drop down it pops you can also smell petrol at the back

were bouts is it

im going to try to check all the connections 2morrow

check them tomorrow and its a jap import and its got a rough idle

will that cause it to go in safe mode when i put it into gear

hi just wondering if you can help me i just brought a 300zx tt auto and when i start it it seems like is missfiring when i go to put into gear it seems to go in to a safe mode and it wont go over 2000rpm or 2500rpm cant remeber witch any advise would be very very helpfull
