Hi there I am in Surbiton not to far from Kingston upon Thames. Thanks for all the welcomes :-) Golf R32's are a good buy at the moment, I quite fancy a GTR myself one day that or an NSX but they are still a fair bit of cash. Out of interest who do you guys recommend for a rolling road set up and genral check over of my 300zx? The guys at ZEDworld seem really helpful, so was planning on using them. Oh yeah I became a fully paid up member does this mean free 500bhp upgrades and stuff ;-) Cheers

Thanks for the welcome Chaps StellaZ MK2 Vr's are hard to beat for fun and games, a classic combo! Yours look like it had some cash thrown at it. Here are few pics of the other old beaters The Old Vr6 Starion, engine now in bits The Derby - I found this in a barn and thought it would only need a few weekends work, 2 years later it got an MOT :( Mk2 8V GTI General work horse and rolling Project I have a Green 16v Mk2 but no pics on the PC yet. Sorry ti Hi-Jack a ZX forum with VW's ....it will not happen again :-) I will get some more pics of the Z when I have given her a wash and polish. I have told myself that I will keep her original but I just saw pics of all your motors and I think that plan might have gone out the window.

Morning all I have just taken ownership or my first nissan 300zx TT, Manual it's an Import was bought from Clive another member on this site (thanks a lot Clive really pleased with the car). I have crossed over (well nearly) from the Volkswagen world but I still own two MK2 Golf GTI's and an old MK1 VW derby. I also am currently restoring a Mitsi Starion Narrow Body 2.0 Turbo. Currently stripping the engine due to a big end issues :( I sold my daily Golf Vr6 Last Saturday and on the Sunday put a deposit on Clive's 300zx and picked it up yesterday. The cars is a beauty and made the 2 hour drive home with a permanent smile on my face and now face aches! Just wanted to say hi and if anyone lives in the Surrey area that might be able to give me some pointers on 300zx ownership that would be much appreciated, I know VW's pretty well but 300zx's are all new to me! I Look forward to joining the club, meeting some fellow owners and heading to some shows this season. Cheers JD
