Good zed friendly service centre
Shrewsbury would probably be the closest option. About an hour and fifteen mins from me. Not had much chance to drive it yet so haven't really had chance to find any of those niggley little issues, apart from a very rough idle, but it won't hurt to take it somewhere for a good service and find out what sort of condition it's in.

Good zed friendly service centre
Is zed world Birmingham way? I think I have a one piece prop coming from there. I could combine that with a visit to my dads in Sutton Coldfield so may be easiest.

Good zed friendly service centre
Hello all. Having recently acquired my zed and with plans to start preparing it for drifting I would like to get it checked over and serviced by someone that knows the cars. Can anyone suggest a good garage that I could take it to that has a bit of experience with them and can give it a good going over for me? I don't mind a bit of a drive to the right place. Cheers

R32 Interchangeable suspension parts?
R32 gtr skyline coilovers fit from what I have read. The top mounts on the rear may need grinding down a little and the springs may be slightly different due to the extra weight of the z but they are adequate. I am sick of reading different threads on the subject. There is nothing on the FAQ on here and google pulls up lots of conflicting opinions. It comes down to the fact your not going to get better than the ones made for the car. Second hand coilovers for the r32 aren't that common anyway and if your buying new you would buy the z32 ones. On another note, if it's a frequently asked question, which it obviously is as the most common answer is "use the search button", maybe a definite answer by someone that knows should be in the frequently asked questions thread. Seems daft to direct people to other zx forums when we are on this one!

R32 Interchangeable suspension parts?
I will see what condition the parts are in first, they may be worth keeping as spares but would make it a very good buy if I sell them on.

R32 Interchangeable suspension parts?
I would love to buy new but it will take me years to save up. I may just get some springs and shocks for now. On a different note, I've been offered an na complete rear subframe, from a local(ish) breakers for £200, is this a good price? It includes diff, drive shafts, hubs, half a prop and the brakes! I could probably sell the spare brakes on drift works for £150!

R32 Interchangeable suspension parts?
I've searched and read loads of threads on the subject but as I said I keep getting conflicting information. I just wanted someone that knows to confirm what I posted above is correct. I have read the thread on nico forum.

R32 Interchangeable suspension parts?
Hello all. Can someone confirm this for me as I keep reading conflicting opinions on the subject. R32 gtr coilovers are a direct fit front and rear although spring rates are slightly different? R32 gtst coilover do not fit front or rear. Can anyone confirm exactly which adjustable arms of which cars (s bodies, skylines etc) will fit my jap tt. I would like to buy second hand and z32 coilovers don't come up as often. I would also like to delete the hicas but would rather replace the rear end for none turbo parts than fit a hicas delete bar as I would rather simplify things and have less to go wrong and I hear the diff is a better ratio for drifting. Is there a guide anywhere that explains what parts I need to do this? Thanks guys.

Old newbie in north wale.
Taken delivery of my zed this afternoon. It's awesome, not had chance to go out in it yet but can't wait to take it for a spin. I hope I can sort out my money troubles and keep this but unfortunately it will have to stay up for sale in the meantime.

Old newbie in north wale.
Hello all. I've been a member on here for a while but didn't realise, I obviously signed up a few years ago when I first started looking at Zeds. Anyway, finally bought one even though I haven't collected it yet. It's the blue one that used to be owned by murt, I bought it off ghazoobe on driftworks who uses the same id on here. Here is the thread off here anyway- http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=174311 I am going to be using it for drifting, been a fan of nissans for years, had a few s13's and s14's but always wanted a zed. Hopefully see some of you around, any members that drift these and can give me a few pointers if love to here from you. Cheers Dale.

is this worth a punt on ebay?
That's what I thought, but then at £600 I could break it if it's no good and make twice that easy. Manual box/conversion must be at least £400!

wow, speedy response. i'm a big fan of nissans, always had 200sx's before but lost a bit of faith due to their bottom end problems and excessive rusting. i still imagine i'll get outbid but if i dont i'll make some room in the garage and this can be a long term project. cheers.
