i'm also assuming the lwb is probably the more 'driftable' car?

i know that an auto can be fine, but i'm really a manual man, i like to be in control of my gears. I'm not in a massive rush so i'm gonna just take my time and find a decent manual. One question i do have, has anyone has experience of driving both the lwb and swb versions and would like to share comparisons? I'm not interested in having people in the back, and will probably remove rear seats etc if i get a 2x2...

Thanks for all the replies guys! I am also on the manual opinion myself, have driven a few rep autos which are nice enough, but if you're buying a sports car, you need manual! Unfortunate really as i had a guy really interested in a swap for my mr2 but his was an auto. Would already have a zed otherwise!

Hi guys, New to the forum, but i'm thinking about buying a TT for my next car. I've owner a few jap cars, few mr2 turbos, 3000gt etc, but now want something different. I loved the 3000gt, but i really want another rwd, so the 300 seems to be the way to go! I'm assuming that it'll probably be the same kind of speed as the mr2 turbo i have currently which is fairly standard? Well hopefully i'll have one soon but need to shift my current car first really! everyone's gonna hate me for saying it, but have you considered breaking the car? I've got a vw golf that i'd put a fair bit of money into but then things when wrong. I ended up breaking the car, and i've already seen back double what i spent on it and i've still got a fair few bits left to get rid of!

Hi guys, I'm thinking about getting a 300... I used to own a 3000gt which i absolutely loved, and i've heard that this nissan is pretty much a clone of the mitsi.... The only thing with the mitsi was the cost of running it. I wasn't thinking too much the petrol costs, which were still ludicrous, but more the cost of repairs/servicing.. Question is basically is the 300zx twin turbo an expensive car to own and is it likely to cost me my life savings just to keep it on the road. I appreciate it depends on whether i buy a very very nice one or a crapper, but i was hoping for a bit of a generalisation about the cars.... Any help is much appreciated! Thanks, Andy
