it could have been tuned to 450ish and that would be at the stage john is talking about. 437 is perfectly safe with no chance of det even so it is actually running about 420 or so as it left the dyno as it was tuned down so it is 100% safe no matter what i throw at it. so it was never pushed to anywhere near being unsafe. steve maps alot of drift cars so knows about mapping cars so they can take abuse without going bang :thumbup:

tranmission loss is a percentage of the power, not the same constant.

whilst my car was being mapped, my son was in the car with steve, he showed him all sorts and explained what each bit meant, i believe he said that with the corrct map any standard zed with a good engine, turbos,etc should be able to get between 390 and 410.all i can say is i would not go anywhere else,great advice,reliable and the results speak for themselves i guess, soon i will be putting up a thread about a rolling road day, then lots of us can compare our power and if needed get a little advice,:bow::bow::bow:

yup, so produced just above factory figures on factory tune with a little less boost iirc.

that was with the boost controller turned off so on actuator pressures and with all settings at standard

oh and the place where the tuning was done are up for a dyno day :thumbup: the tuning is about £150 per session but first he solders a daughter board into your ecu and puts nistune on it so he can do the tuning. this is about 600 including the first tuning session iirc. i only had to go back for another session as my turbo was knackered.

nope its a new, dyno dynamics dyno giving 100% accurate readings, its just mapped properly, he did say my car did very well considering but that any good standard zed mapped properly should make 390-410.

oh yea and the car is on standard engine, turbos and injectors :thumbup:

Power @ the wheels vs Tractive Effort (how much thrust/grip the car develops on the rollers - nearly 1500 Ft Ibs) HP vs Air Fuel Ratio (average engine fuel mixtures picked up from both Banks of the V6) Hp vs Boost 1.2 dropping to 1bar (very normal with STOCK actuators) only way to cure this solidly is HKS 1.2 BAR actuators with Much STIFFER springs) but atleast this time BOOST is much much more consistent - making the tune for me easier to do and set up

D2 will sort it i am sure, mine is spot on and they are the only one i would trust,recently they have had loads of zeds in with long term running niggles that no other garage has managed to sort, and they have sorted each and every one,f***ing hero's if you ask me.

a brand new dyno dynamics dyno, the 422 was a figure run, the car currently runs 399bhp and 423ftlbs of torque.

yes mate he did it at hayes engineering in erith.

erm, divorced downpipes, decat, veilside evolution exhaust, apexi filter,apexi avcr boost controller. and i think thats it engine/power wise.
