  1. depends how low you go, how much tyre stretch, how much camber... etc...
  2. depends on the suspension setup that madmax goes for....
  3. so your saying that 9.5j et+18 (j1mmytt) is aggressive and perfect but you say that 9.5j et+32 is still aggressive and will look good. there is a fair amount of difference between those two offsets. now i would say yes you are right that there is no doubt that j1mmytt has an aggressive offset and it looks the nuts but the et+32 wheel is more of a average offset than a particularly aggressive one. now i know madmax does not want loads of arch work but et+32 just isnt aggressive IMO.
  4. but going back to the topic... you said that 9.5j et+32 would be "aggressive". edgars offsetts are 18x9.5 +8 19x10 +10 and his do not stick out too far and the arches have not been played with to an extreme amount.
  5. you have just gone against what you previously said as j1mmytt has stretched tyres on his...
  6. sometimes stretched rubber is needed:tt2: so you dont like this then?
  7. that car does look very nice and the stnace is good but i wouldnt say the offset/stance is particularly aggressive. if you look at the last picture you will see the wheel sits inside a bit at the top!. with the right wheel tyre combination an aggressive stance will show the wheel as outside the arch while the tyre remains in the arch. this can be achieved with the right combination of tyre stretch, arch work and camber.
  8. just to let you all know,,, its yassa jnr that is the aggressive offset dude,,
  9. funkysi... i think we have different ideas if aggressive offsets. yes i know this is not an 300 and has some arch work but this is what an very aggressive offset is IMO.
  10. fair enough, i should have said they sit too far inside to look right IMO. of course if you run wide tyres you are going to have problems but nothing wrong with a stretched tyre.
  11. IMO of course... depends on the look you are going for overall. with the more modified look of madmax's car i would say an aggressive stance would suit it rather than a slightly modified standard look/ stance such as yours.
  12. :happybday:Happy birthday
  13. Happy birthday,,,,,:happybday:
  14. welcome,,,and good luck.
  15. dont need wider rears if all of them are wide :) j1mmytt runs 9.5j all round.
  16. 9.5j + 20 if you want to leave the arches alone but if you want to play with the arches and have an aewsome and very aggressive stance go for the 10.5j +18
  17. can i have the details of the rally please. may have a go in the £2 zed :)
  18. if you want nice wheels japan is the place to get them. or just get some custom ones made up over here.
  19. the offsets are terrible so they will sit too far in the arches. dont like the style and at that price they are not worth it imo
  20. its rwd.... maybe turbo.... well over 100bhp... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1988-E-Volvo-740-Gle-6-MONTHS-TAX-PETROL-MANUAL_W0QQitemZ260535682765QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAutomobiles_UK?hash=item3ca92306cd

  23. yep they are running skegness as well. at the same prices :) skegness is not the kind of place to take a zed as the run off area is the wall whereas at norfolk you can spin out all day and hit nothing but cones and mud.
  24. yea its a fair bit of petrol . about 60 quid. so say 100 quid for the day plus tyres.
