yea i spose its different for everyone, having said what i have though some days i do sit in it and i'll drive around just for the hell of it so i think im just suffering from automotive asphyxiation.. but im originally a classic car lover and im craving for something old again.. might just get a classic and keep this alongside it i think

Bonjour, iv been driving my Z now for almost a month and i'll be honest, its not doing a great deal for me, i do generally get bored of cars quick if there's no click there, but I did have my FTO for a year and I loved it, don't know why theres no chemistry with the Z though! I'm trying to love it but just can't, seriously thinking about px'ing or selling, in the mood for something classic again possibly a karmann ghia or if I can find one a '77 celica ra28, did any1 else get this when they first brought their Z or was it love at first sight for you all?

Agreed it is slightly out of the box and some parts of the styling do not 100% compliment each other, but top fakin marks for being brave that is one sweet ass rod

ta lads i'll get the rear gear box mount changed and see if it makes a difference, the vibrating is occurring a lot more now and for a prolonged period as well so need to get it sorted asap!

No its not through the steering i can feel the vibrating through the seat, usually happens after started from cold not really at higher speeds though, i guess its one of those trial and error jobs, my guess is the thing i do last will be the main problem!

Hi my car occassionally vibrates when I put my foot down, why?

They'r 5 114, front tyres are 8J - 235 40 18 and rears are 9.5J - 265 35 18 Offset is ET20.. will these fit onto my z?

bonjourna, picked up auto express's car yesterday, very happy with the drive its got a solid engine, few bits and bobs need doing to the bodywork which I'm gonna crack on with.. I was thinking though as the car is red, do you reckon the top half would look nice black? i.e. the tailgate, spoiler and windscreen pillars. I love black and red and I think I may have seen this combo on another car and it looked wkd, waddya reckon.. possible carbon fibre bonnet as well to top it all off..

lol i love testing the type of forum by adding a little controversy, im not a chav n i do despise em, but you alongside the majority of forums im a member of have an 'elite' population who dont like seeing change on forums n thats all it comes down to. its a phsychological thing.. generally older people cling onto the past. its all good. btw my hobby is restoring classic cars so i dont want no 'we take care of our cars not abuse them' rubbish i got bare love for my rides. But back on track i dont think the chav market will ever tap into zeds or if they do not for a looong time so we can all sleep safe.
