  3. slag! ;0)
  4. if you remove old wheel then look underneath you will see a hub ring with 2 fitting on one at 12o clock and 1 at 6 oclock on the back of the boss there will be 2 cutouts you will see then it sits on to the hub ring and control the hicas when wheel turns! should be simple enough mate :D
  5. most things with a v8 TT will motor LOL that is quick though!
  6. its ok mate, i had a tear or two always emotional when these babies are born :duffer:
  7. is it for hicas type. ie.. does it have the hicas cutouts for the hub to go on? basically if you have cruise relocate it! remove battery lead remove centre pad on wheel undo 17mm nut on centre of spindle shaft leave on slightly and tap all round wheel with a clean rubber mallet so it shakes it off its spline without damaging the spline and your face! get you aftermarket boss, if its a hicas type it should slot straight over the hicas hub/ring but making sure to keep it all centre so it does not effect hicas, wire your horn in, most you have to make up an extra earth feed- for the horn ring on the wheel, then attach existing wire on to new horn. re do 17mm nut on to the boss and tighten around 40lb ft but check manual recentre new wheel on to boss making sure its 100% true and fit horn cover with allen key bolts. If your wheel is non hicas you either have to A/ remove hicas hub, and disable hicas or B/ using a dremmel tool cut out the notches in the boss so it will go over hub (did on mine thanks to steve-o, however not recomended you would also need to use large penny washers to bring the boss away from the cowling plastics otherwise it fouls when you tighten centre nut. greg very vague explanation, but if its the hicas boss it should be self explanatory greg
  8. couple of pics taken last night and today of amy (anna ) :) greg
  9. Might take you up on that :o :nelson: :o
  10. no probs bud and eh why not, make those 15-20 year old bolts new again!
  11. best way is to drop the x member down to its lowest point without removing the nuts! this will not only give you a slight amount of play reaching the top bolts, but you will find the manual box will go in about 10mins quicker ;) auto boxes are a pain, you will find it easier putting the top bolts in on a manual alot easier as there is no dipstick turn bolts hand tight then use a couple of feet of 3/8" extensions with uj and 6point 14mm socket and do up til then pinch when putting the box in do the bolts up at 3 and 9 oclock evenly if its real tight slighty undo and turn crank pulley around so layshaft can sdrop in to spigot/crank not teaching you to suck eggs, but little things make the job easier greg
  12. sod it lets have a party :D come round when you want love kath is more radiant now, i think it might be the fact theres a big belly that has dissapeared so she can now shave herself in the lady places :o :D greg

pic for you! look at hose's in circle check them, but im pretty sure it will be the hose that runs at 45o to the bellhousing clutch cover in pic
  16. greg replied to a post in a topic in General Discussions - 300ZX Related
it will be the little ******* running down the back of the bellhousing about 6" long and is a **** to do! LOL it feeds the NS turbo best way is from below, use a long pair of thin nose forceps to grip on to the the metal clamps, fiddly but doable with plenum on just be patient greg
  17. LOL joely you nutter! fairplay though, im sure paul will look after her for you! greg
  18. indeed mate this is why i worked at ztech for 2 years, these days i wont use a garage! wether it be a wheel bearing/engine rebuild, so ryan thanks for something :D

  20. bearings internally by the sound of it cant see that being anything clutch related, not normal on the z32 transmission but the 200sx sr box does this for a past time, especially as the stick is going in to 1st but only crunch is found.
