  9. thought it would need soldering in but all i needed to do was pull old one out and push new one in :hyper: is this what they call piggyback ecu or what :confused: anyone else just had to push the chip in rather than soldering it so i have an aggresive chip for sale if interested :D greg

  14. i noticed better pickup but also a slightly higher idle which is apparently normal ;) until the ecu reconises the new air-flow properties i had a bit of black smoke but then it depends how often you opened the butterflies up to clean behind them,kind of like trying to start a moped floods the engine slightly.

  17. i have fitted 2 aftermarket gauges and they have been working fine up until yesterday! boost gauge has no iluminated display as the gauge is black? could a bulb be blown not sure how to get at it,and where would i get one :( it was working intermitadly would work sometimes.Then no display all together checked wireing and all is fine. any ideas :bow:

  19. i like it :D gear changes are certainly alot firmer but feels very positive ;) and you get new shifter bushings aswell
  20. its a shame you cant remove tracker to another car but they did fit a free imobiliser for me aswell :D subscription can be handed over to the new owner which in petes case is usless with a shell of a car lol
  21. mine does this! think its normal after a big blast ,could be a few drips of oil dropping on to your zorst check oil dipstick level for over filling :cool: or possibly brake piston/s sticking slightly causing friction=heat possible burning smell HTH
