  1. A good opportunity to get a custom one piece made up.
  2. No mate, except there shouldn't be any, unless you've just done a leak down test on that cylinder. One for the engine experts there.
  3. Just had a read of the Conzult manual and it says that it should read 0.45 volts when throttle is fully shut and 4.00v when fully open. Tbh mate, it's been a while since I sorted mine and I can't remember if it's normally set to 0.44 or 0.46. Since it's a steady reading your getting then it's more than likely fine. Couldn't say about the MAF bud.
  4. You should be able to see the strobe in daylight, just make sure the sun isn't shinning directly on it and you'll be fine. Meant to ask; is the TPS reading rock steady or does it vary slightly ?
  5. Your TPS setting is a little high, you could try setting it to 0.44. Probably not make any difference but you never know. Also, check the timing with a gun just to confirm what datascan says. I've know the software to show a big difference between the readings from it and a gun.
  6. Looks like you've checked everything mate. Could it be because can't drive properly ? Only joking mate :lol:
  7. Actually, now I think about it that's the one I bought. Exactly the same as the screwfix one though, just half the price.
  8. That's what I used. Very handy set :thumbup1:
  9. Yeah, it's that or fishing line across the pond. Trouble is I don't like nets etc covering the pond as they look ugly and fishing line just gets in the way. Going to have to do something like that though :( Did he catch them mate?. That setup looks spot on, can it be connected to remote sentry guns ? lol
  10. Cheers Steve, I'll check that out :thumbup1: Hard to say how many have gone mate as the goldfish have been breeding in there for a good few years, must be at least 30 or so though as I've only got one old goldfish left. Luckily my 3 carp are too big to be bothered by a Heron.
  11. Can anyone recommend a decent CCTV system for watching my pond as I'm getting mugged over by something nicking my fish. I suspect a Heron but i'm not sure. the camera needs to be able to work at night and have a range of around 20' - 30'. Ideally be motion activated and connectible to a wi fi network for video storage. Cheaper than chips would be nice too :) Cheers.
  12. Started mine for the first time this year today. Started first time as usual, and yes I did prime the tubs and get the oil flowing before running. One slight problem I noticed was that there is a bit a of blue smoke coming out the exhausts :(. Hard to say at the moment if it's a turbo seal issue or if it's just burning off residual oil. Engine sounded sweet as though, so not all bad..
  13. iirc the speed limiter is part of ecu chip so a Jeff chip will remove it (or more likely raise the speed limit to a ridiculous amount which the car will never reach ie 300mph, which effectively removes it). Has the Jeff chip been fitted? If so then I don't why you still have a limiter on there, one for the experts there.
  14. cut them off the exhaust and remove the the mounts attached to the gearbox. The system will still be solid but there is no way they will fit those mounts without some serious re-hashing. Bit poor of Japspeed really..
  15. Nice little find there :thumbup1:
  16. It's still good advice though :thumbup1:
  17. Sadly no, but I did transfer my Crystal Red Bee shrimps and RCS to their new 40L cube. So not a wasted day :)
  18. been working....and now about to mow the lawns..

Sounds like you've got some work ahead of you mate. :thumbup1:
  21. I got £75 quid for my old TT sub frame, including hubs, diff.. etc. They don't go for much I'm afraid, it's the NA one that's desirable. If your putting an NA sub then I'd take the opportunity to refurb it first with new bushes all round. The locking collars are good and do the job but I'd prefer to replace the bushes if the frame is off the car.
