  1. My thinking is that Yes it does, but I may be wrong. You certainly don't want it flapping about tho' mate.
  2. Sorry to hear this mate. I'm sure if you could get your zed to Jeff he would sort it for you. One thing to try is make sure that the ecu connector is not over tightened, this can actually cause the connector to bow in the middle and give you intermittent connections at the ends of the plug. worth a shot if you haven't already checked it.
  3. That's coming on very nicely mate. Are you restricted on what cars you can use as a doner?
  4. Have a search on cleaning the headlight lens mate. The lights can be removed and dismantled for cleaning, one member even puts the glass in his dishwasher. lol For the rubber, I would drop them in a bath of warm soapy water with some bicarb of soda and scrub them clean. Then give them a wipe with some peanut oil. They should come back up nicely. HTH
  5. Great news mate :thumbup1:
  6. They do come out mate, you just have to keep wiggling them and make sure that the retaining spring isn't getting in the way. Try to pull the bulb out horizontal to the fitting. It's still a right PITA though..

ahh, yeah NicciZ is MUCH better :)

what was that then? I thought you'd always been NicciZ...
  9. Cheers for your continued support mate :thumbup1: Did you renew via paypal? Just wondering, as you should have gone green very quickly, if you did.
  10. Looks fantastic mate :thumbup1: Just out of interest, how much did the body shell cost?
  11. Vodkashots has baby seats in his. I'm no expert but I would have thought you'd be best to upgrade the rear belts to UK spec if you both have the jdm lap belts. I'm sure voddy will tell you all when he gets online.
  12. Me too mate. My cats are riddled with seemingly mutant "Frontline Immune" super fleas. Does that count as exotic
  13. Pull the big grommet off, undo the tension spring that keeps the bulb in place then swear like fook at the bulb "being the wrong shape to get past the f@#!in' lugs" Good luck mate.
  14. You could always try connecting a multimeter to it then drop it in a pan of water (upto the sensor part) bring that to the boil and watch the multimeter. Measure resistance and as the water gets hotter the resistance should go down... If the res goes down smoothly then all's good.
  15. Unfortunately all my phone says is "INTERNATIONAL" it won't give me the number and, of course, the caller always withholds their number when I do 1471. Shower of bastwereds, the lot of them. lol
  16. Yeah, mikey's right it's the left one ;) To your water pissing out Q. you may loose a tiny amount but you'll need to bleed the rad a little too anyway. And DON'T do it when the engines up to temp!!
  17. It's the one with the injector like connector mate :) Right one.. - - - Updated - - - He's ruled out driver error mate
  18. Yeah I get those to mate, bloody annoying...
  19. Back of engine passenger side, bolted on to the plenum matey :) It should have a yellow two pin connector attached to it at the top. This is the ICV wire, the one under that is to do with the AC. HTH
  20. Anybody else getting this? I've been getting around 10 calls a day lately all from International numbers. My Mum is in hospital at the moment so I run to the phone only to find it's some foreign bast :cursing: I've tried to get them barred but I would have to pay £4.99 a month for a device that connects to the line. Apparently BT can't block them..... Am I the only lucky one?
  21. Does sound like anti roll bar problems. Maybe just a worn bush or drop link, as mentioned. PS. Let your kids sit on the seats, it's cruel keeping them in the footwell
  22. You know I'm always right mate  except when I'm wrong......
  23. I'm sure it is. lol
