  8. sorry i was assuming the slave cylinder ran of the brakes like with 90% of GM cars with hydrolic clutches - used to find if all 4 pads were down to the metal the resivoir would drop quite considerably wich in turn would cause the clutch to slip everso slightly or smell bad when driving
  9. thats a point actually, when its been icy the clutch makes a weird noise when engaging and.... actually come to think about it it stinks all the time of slipping clutch.... it doesn't slip though - ill get the clutch replaced too!
  10. oh is it fluid? i just assumed it was cable, fill it up thru the brake fluid res? it needs new pads anyway ill do the pads then the brake fluid - ill probably find it gets nice and soft after that.....mines a 92 model tho? aw i dunno!!
  11. sorry for the rant what i meant to say was is there any way of adjusting the clutch heaviness?
  12. im sick of the heavyest clutch in the world! couple that with the engine hesitation when you set off its begining to piss me off id rather have gone for a TT auto instead of an NA manual!! same price most of them so my advice to ppl is sod a manual box there knackering!! (unless its just mine) i always thaut jap cars were reliable? are Z's the exception to the rule? mates na supra never brakes down and he abuses the crap out of it!!!! grrrrr wish i still had my redtop calibra!!
  13. love the way the belt says MADE IN JAPAN yeeeeaaa roy!
  14. more like 40 at the wheels - i hate dyno's!!!
  15. well! turns out that switch thing actually changes the amb temp??? and for some strange reason the whole running of the car? need to get my arse down to the Z centre for tune up - all sortsa things wrong, the horn still doesnt work, i went from the relay to the horn itself and still no..... think i might just take it to an auto electrician to fix
  16. yep got that ill have a look tomorrow after work cheers
  17. wtf? how did that get there? i didnt do that?
  18. right im too cold now and the xfacter final is on..... i need to have a good look at the relay, if im going to run a wire off it i need to know specifically which pin? and that turny switch thing was actually turned right up, iv turned it off and the car sounds normal for the first time and doesnt try to stall itself anymore!! lol! the amb numbers still go up and down with the rpm....quite off putting really!! lol! anyway any help with the relay pins preferably a pic!
